Nombach Roofing and Tuckpointing is a family owned and operated business founded in 1969 by Hans Dieter Nombach. Hans was a master shipbuilder from Holland who fell on hard times following World War II. Needing to support his family, he took flight to America and earned a job as a skilled carpenter building truss and cathedral roofs. By 1969 he ventured off and formed his own company. For over 40 years his family has provided quality craftsmanship to the Chicagoland area. With over 20,000 homes serviced including commercial, industrial and institutional roofs, we have the unparalleled experience and support staff to get the job done right. Hans Nombach is a strong advocate of safe work practices, equal employment and great customer service.

I am planning my third project with NOMBACH company. The sales guy is very nice and informative about a lot of things. NOMBACH company is a company you can trust and depend on. You won’t regret it.

Great customer service. Staff who came do the job estimate knew his stuff and was super friendly. Finished the project in two days because of the weather.

My garage roof was torn off in a storm. Nombach was out the day after, surveyed the damage, covered the roof and 2 days later, laid a new rubberized rolled roof and new gutters. They did a fantastic job and completely cleaned up the area. I'd hire them again if I ever need new roof.

Reference@ 710677: Hans Nombach rebuilt a badly crumbling chimney, replaced the roof, & tore down and rebuilt rear concrete steps with a small area around the stairs. The project was completed late in the year (2018) and the fresh concrete had to be covered by tarps. There was an issue with some impressions in some of the concrete due to the covering & possibly time of year. Once winter went away, there were no issues with them coming back out to redo the affected areas. They must have a lot of projects going on though as it did take a bit of time from agreeing to the work to starting the work. The work was completed quickly once they started.

I was satisfied with the work of this contractor, I would hire them again. There was an issue with some of the silver coating that dropped on my back porch but they can and corrected the problem. reference # 629629

Nombach Roofing was recommended by two friends. The estimator was knowledgeable and professional. The crew completed a garage roof, gutters and house chimney repair on time and left the job site cleaner than when they started. I will definitely hire them for future projects and recommend them to friends and family. Reference#555782

Installed new gutters with over-sized downspouts & leaf guards. Workers showed up on schedule & finished early afternoon just before major rain storm. Excellent job! This is my second working experience with Nombach and I recommend them every chance I get. Reference #: 278190

Did a great job. Our first contact was with Mark who gave us our estimate. Very professional. Explained everything involved from showing us their licensing and insurance documentation to a complete description of every aspect of the actual work. We were told the job would be completed in one day and after 8 hours the new roof was on and our property was clean. We had gotten 3 estimates prior to Nombach and none were as straight forward and up front as they were. I highly recommend them and will use them for future exterior work.
