Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with Handyman Home Links. We agreed on a price of $375 for a day of work. Patrick was supposed to put base boards in 2 rooms and crown molding in 3 rooms. He installed the base boards only but took the entire payment. Let me explain the story. First, Patrick showed up at 11:15am, after I was told he would be there between 10:00-10:30. No big deal. But upon arrival, he does not have the proper tools to get the job done. Luckily, I have a nail gun and ladder so I let him borrow my tools. After measuring and cutting until 4pm, he begins to put in the base boards. He puts in the 2 rooms base boards and paints them. Around 6:30, he tells me he will need to come back 5 days later to finish (begin, really) the crown molding. This is where his assistant who works the phones ghosts me. Cathy is unable to be reached. Can't reach her on the phone, text, or online. They have completely blocked all contact with me. After 7 or 8 texts to her, and 5 calls I finally give up. I will not have the project done. I paid $375 to have 2 bathrooms baseboards installed. I would highly recommend NOT using Patrick and Cathy. They took my money, didn't finish the job, and kicked me to the curb. Save your money and find someone you can trust

Before I begin let me give the balanced perspective. Patrick and Cathy are very nice, do very good work and are very pleasant to be around. I have no doubt they care about doing a good job and their hearts are in the right place. Unfortunately my experience was a bit tainted since they were over scheduled with me and were not always on time. That being said when you take into account the extremely fair price they charge and how good a job they do it balanced it out. If you can make sure they know you need them to be on time than I believe Patrick and Cathy can be excellent to work with.

We are sorry Scott, with weather issues, we were not Abel to get on same time scheduling that agreed with you. In fact the patio you had us paint was done perfectly and on time as promised, the fact that it rained shortly after we were done painting was out of are control . We agreed to come back and do touch up and when we try to schedule you you put us off 2 weeks +. Well all in all we love all of our customers, and we apologize for any in convince due to scheduling circumstances. Let us know if we can make it up to you. And im willing to give you back your 100$ bonus that you felt we deserved , but no longer feel that we do. We are not looking for any hand outs or to take advantage of anyone, we do good work and are reputation speaks for itself we have never had a issue with another customer, you would be the first. Thanks for your honesty though, from your perspective i can see how you would feel this way.
