Grey Soft Furnishings is based in Burnham on Crouch. We have a lovely shop offering fabrics, gifts, throws, cushions, lampshades and more. We offer a bespoke, made to measure service for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. We work closely with an upholsterer who can transform your favourite armchair into a wow piece of furniture once more. Whether it’s to make a style statement or complete the finishing touches of your room, we provide bespoke consultations to meet our clients needs. As part of your consultation, you’ll be able to choose from our range of exclusive furnishing fabrics from our fabric designers. Visit us in store to browse through our many fabric pattern books, get help and advice to achieve the window treatments that will enhance and compliment your home. If fabric isn't what is required, we can supply window shutters, roller blinds, vertical blinds and so much more. Bespoke Bathrooms of Brentwood

Helen does the most neat and stylish curtains I have ever seen. Her attention to detail is second to none. She made me a blush pink velvet blind and blue velvet curtains with a pom pom trim to coordinate with the blind and she even thought to match up the pull chain on the blind and sourced a pink curtain pole which matches perfectly. I have coordinating cushions and they are trimmed and piped to perfection. Helen is a pleasure and is highly efficient to work with. Her clients don't need to worry about a thing she's thought it all through and is one step ahead all the way. I can't recommend Helen highly enough.

This lady is so nice and understanding. She really listens to what you want, and then uses her professionalism to guide you and point you in the right direction. I had such a strong view of what I wanted, but Helen very gently asked me to look at things a different way...and WOW, she really knows her stuff. Also, just as important, the quality of what you are getting is second to none. I have bought cheap stuff before from Argos, Debenhams, IKEA, and the difference in quality is like night and day. Would never again doubt the extra pounds for quality and design and advice. 5 out of 5. (would give more if I could)

Helen designed and installed pelmets to my large round bay windows and vertical blinds to patio door. Helen Was very professional and extremely helpful and assisted me in choosing the best match materials to use for my project. Great service and would certainly recommend Thanks again Helen

Absolutely beautiful hand made blinds. I only wanted a couple of windows dressed but she did such a lovely job I ended up having virtually all the windows in the house dressed. Professional and it was a pleasure to welcome her into my home. Helen always arrived for appointments on time and kept to the deadlines and let me know how long they would take to make. She has endless books of stunning fabrics to choose from and with her expert knowledge knew exactly what type of fabrics and patterns I was looking for. Quality hand made blinds at a very reasonable price. I love them! I would recommend Helen to anyone.

Helen Dawson has made curtains and blinds for me on a couple of occasions and I would highly recommend her. She was very professional and helpful, especially when it came to fabric choice, Helen also had a good supply of samples of which were excellent quality. The finished product is of a very high standard and made within the deadlines set. I would not hesitate to use her services again.
