My experience with Green Apple could not have been better. First of all, our parking pad is beautiful and they did such a great job making our plan become a reality. We are super happy with their work! Also, and I cannot state this enough, they supported us. We had a long process for approvals and permits, and Peter and team supported us every step of the way. They were patient, informative, creative, and often gave an ear to listen while we vented. I cannot recommend Green Apple enough - you won't be disappointed!

I recently had my backyard re-designed and remodeled. It was a very narrow yard in the city so I thought it would be challenging to maximize living space. Green Apple did a phenomenal job and completely reinvented and modernized my backyard space. Front yard parking pad & landscaping From the very beginning of our front yard parking pad journey, we felt that we were in great hands with Peter & his team. We had a hard time visualizing what could be done with our not so attractive front lawn & Fred designed a simple, yet beautiful space that suited our overall aesthetic & was within our budget. I highly recommend Green Apple Landscaping. Peter and team were extremely professional and knowledgeable in navigating a very complex front parking pad completion. The design for the entire front yard, including gardens, one car parking, steps and an upper deck was beautifully done. We hired Green Apple Landscaping for the landscaping of our front lawn and to redo our driveway. We had a great experience and would hire them again in a heartbeat. Parking pad construction and paving of mutual driveway I am very happy with all the work done by Green Apple Landscaping from the beginning to the end. I am so relieved to have a lovely parking pad, retaining wall, landscaping and the paving in the mutual driveway which blends in so well with the adjoining neighbour's driveway. I am thrilled with the wider walkway as it will not only make my life easier but a lot safer especially in the winter. Having the walkway is a huge bonus, and I still can't believe that it is a reality. The lights look great too. Everyone involved went above and beyond my expectations.

Another great project by Peter and the team at Green Apple! They added a new walkway to connect our driveway to the front entrance on the other side. The combined walkways in Town Hall brick looks fantastic. Add in the lighting, stone edging and surrounding landscaping and we have a functional, fully transformed space.

We are so happy about how our backyard turned out - from a complete tear down to building a fence to match the existing one, retaining wall, stone paver path, and three-tier deck. Peter has a fantastic team. Fred (landscape designer) was so creative to come up with the plan with our limited space and very patient to listen to our needs. Simon, Paul, Rob, and Shawn were true professionals. They are extremely detailed oriented and care about their craft. They certainly don't cut corners. Every time we had unexpected issues, they were able to come up with new solutions. They were very patient, friendly, and very professional. I moved into a house where the parking pad wasn't "legal" and I had to work with Peter to work backwards to apply for it to be legalized. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful. We were looking to do something with our backyard space that consisted only of a lawn of weeds, an old metal shed and a chain link fence. Peter and his team did a complete teardown and rebuild of our backyard (a Toronto semi) over a couple of months in 2020, installing two new fences with gates, two new decks, a stone patio with natural gas fire pit, and fresh landscaping. Peter at Green Apple was that "right guy". Peter's customer service centric approach made every major or minor change/challenge to the our project an smooth and easy one. He is transparent, honest, and attentive. His crew is professional, knowledgeable, and very hard working. Simon, the foreman, is a very smart man. Simon is able to identify issues and problems ahead of time. And Simon will consult with others before adjusting the project plan/work accordingly. This is a solid team. Fred, the designer at Green Apple was able to come up with a plan that was the "right price". Green Apple's quote not the cheapest quote I received, but their pricing seemed very fair for the scope of work that was delivered. I much appreciated the times that Peter pointed out opportunities/options to save a few bucks by suggesting a different approach or materials. As for "right timing", well, we were lucky. Green Apple had time/capacity and the COVID restrictions were just lifted for landscaping. Our project was finished on time and on budget by Green Apple. Scope of work included, new landscaping of front and backyard, concrete walkways, stepping stone walkways, asphalt driveway, cedar fencing, chainlink fencing, tree/stump removal, soak-away french drain system YEAR 2 UPDATE: Greenapple has continued to support their work by providing me sage advice.... I have never written a review, good or bad before, but after having Green Apple complete front and back yard landscaping for us, I thought it was important to share my experience. We had previously had flooding in our basement twice and right away when Fred arrived (the designer) he commented we had a grading issue. Grading and basement flood prevention were important to us and Fred's plans emphasized that as well. The implementation of the plan was left to Simon the foreman. Simon was one of the hardest working individuals I have ever met. He was also meticulous and very detailed oriented. The crew did a fantastic job cleaning up every night. Even the neighbours were complimentary of their work and how clean they left the site each night. With the input of Peter (the owner) and Simon, a few changes to the plan were made along the way which is normal for such a large project. At the end of the day after about 6 weeks, our place looks amazing. Looking forward to using it more next summer.

What a life saver! It turns out that the house I bought did not have a legal City of Toronto parking spot. To make matters even worse, we had a medium sized tree (and associated tree protection zone) that made it almost impossible to carve out a compliant parking spot. Peter and his team were able to guide us through the process of getting the right paperwork in front of the right city departments (Urban Forestry, Parking Enforcement, and more), and came up with a beautiful landscaping plan that respected the TPZ and satisfied all of the city's other requirements as well. Would highly recommend as a landscaper in general, and can't imagine anyone better if you're trying to work within City of Toronto restrictions to get parking approved (in the wards where it is legal).

Our results were on time, on budget, and on point! Friends, neighbours, kids on their way to school, and even the odd passer-by will express their joy with our freshened-up yard, improved curb appeal, creative garden additions, and new entertaining spaces. Because it costs them nothing since they build it perfect the first time. The improvement to the front of our property is night and day. Green Apple Landscaping did a terrific job. We bought a house that didn't have any landscaping done to it and Peter's designer designed a truly backyard oasis and front yard showcase for us. They designed a wood screening on one side and huge beech tree screening on the other with cedars around the fenced perimeter. They also designed/installed gardens with unique plants and trees that I've never seen before and installed a huge patio with different designs that matched our existing stairs. They also designed our front garden with tall ornamental grasses, trees and plants. Peter also designed automatically timed garden lighting for both our front and backyards, that showcases our house and which our neighbours love. The quality of work of Peter's crew was outstanding and they also installed concrete pads for a fountain and other designed garden features. We are SO THRILLED with the landscaping at the front and our new back deck. Our back area presented some real challenges with various access points into the house and yard but your team was able to provide a relaxing, private and elegant entertaining space. The added soft lightening gives definition to the new deck and large trees. It has been transformative for the exterior of the house and the compliments from neighbours, family and friends are endless. I contacted Green Apple Landscaping early this year with an eye on some pretty extensive front and backyard landscaping. From my first contact with Peter, I was impressed. He listened to my needs and along with Fred, the landscape designer, developed a plan for our yard that was nothing short of spectacular! It was a large project and was tedious for the crew due to the very uncooperative weather but they persevered and not once cut any corners to make up for lost time. Peter and Victor, the crew chief, stayed in constant contact with us when there were delays or questions and accommodated every single thing we added along the way. We realized halfway along that we had forgotten about lighting but the request to add it was met with good humour. The end result is a front and back yard that is nothing short of picture worthy. We had the daunting task of trying to acquire front yard parking in Toronto. Peter and team controlled a number of variables, with their expertise in the front pad parking permit process, and leveraging their close relationships within city services. The landscape design was created with our ideas in mind, but they spun it in a very complimentary way to architect a very modern design with low long term maintenance and beautiful region hearty foliage. The project was delivered within our budget and on time. The Green Apple team that came to implement the landscape design was very well spoken and ridiculously hard working. They worked long hard days and got our project completed in one weeks time. The materials they selected, both plant and hard-scape were of top quality. Peter runs an honest business. We were very lucky to come across his services. We'll use Peter and the Green Apple Landscaping team again for future projects.

Green Apple helped us design and build a new parking pad. They coached us through the process offering lots of time and advice upfront. Their design was fantastic and they quickly accommodated all the minor modifications we wanted. On site they were efficient, kept everything clean so as not to bother our neighbours. I appreciated hearing the truth and that they did not try to cover it up leaving me to deal with years later. It was fixed to code. Also the creativity and carpentry work was top notch. I live downtown. With very little space. Peter was easy to reach at all times and responded quickly. And the crew was very polite and respectful and left the site spotless. They also finished on the projected end date, even though we had a few rained out days. I highly recommend Green Apple.

Front and back Yard landscaping Our initial thoughts on the project were to redo the deck and then work on the landscaping separately. But after a looking at a couple of companies we decide to hire one company to do the entire project. This is where Green Apple landscaping came in. We hired Peter and his team to landscape our front and back yard along with redesigning the deck. His team worked closely with us right from the design phase to the installation. April worked on the layout; she kept all our concerns and questions in mind when coming up with the plant choices and design. Victor and Simon who did the landscaping were prompt, detail oriented and always took care to clean up the site every evening. My main criteria behind hiring a professional to get the job done were met: The job was started on time, finished on time, came in on budget and more importantly the after sales service has been great. Any issues or concerns that came up during the job were addressed. I would highly recommend Green Apple as a company that should be contacted if you are thinking about landscaping

I had the great pleasure of using Green Apple Landscaping for a front yard/pad project this spring. Over the last few years we have had a lot of renos done inside and out. No company has been more organized, resourceful or diligent than Green Apple. From the design to implementation everything went smoothly and remarkably fast. The team was beyond gracious and the work was beautiful, clean and prompt. Another point to note is their excellent support and follow-up even after the completion of the project.

We used Green Apple for two projects at our north Toronto home. The first was a smaller project: building a parking pad and doing some front yard landscaping. The second was a much bigger project: a complete demolition and redesign of our backyard. We were extremely happy with the first project that Green Apple did for us so we didn’t think twice about retaining them for the second project. Our backyard presented more than a few challenges, the biggest of which was the fact that it contained an almost 45 degree slope. Green Apple came up with a design that was both practical and beautiful. They took the time to do things right the first time. No corners were cut. Peter’s crew was amazing. They were always available to address our concerns and they came to us immediately when unforeseen issues arose. And on a project as big as ours there were more than a few such issues. But each issue was presented to us with multiple solutions such that there was minimal impact to the budget, the timeline and the overall aesthetic of the finished product. This is the second time we have used Green Apple for landscaping work, both times we've been impressed and excited with the results that the Green Apple team came up with. This time, they took a relatively small backyard space and transformed it using plants, trees and lighting to make it a comfortable private space that begs you to spend time in it !. We recently used Green Apple Landscaping for a complete back yard transformation. We are absolutely delighted with the end result and would highly recommend Green Apple for the following 3 reasons: 1) COST -- We found the cost to be very reasonable, but more importantly transparent. They were the only company to invest the time to take exacting measurements of our bicycles, patio furniture and BBQ, to look at the property from all sight lines and to have detailed conversations about the plants that we liked. The result is they have created a space for us that fully fits all our needs and our lifestyle. 3) QUALITY -- We feel that people who are passionate about what they do are the best kind of people. Very professional, full-service landscaping company. Installed a front-yard parking pad, retaining walls, and full garden landscaping for our Beaches house. Helped us through the permit process, quick and professional hardscaping, followed by a really terrific garden designer and great plantings that really work for our century home and are low-maintenance! Peter Solti and crew have also responded to our calls for help promptly on several occasions and most recently dropped off a free replacement capstone for one on a wall which had fallen and broken. We would highly recommend them.
