Mike did a great job designing and drawing plans for a renovation we did. He was very accommodating and had great ideas. He was also open to suggestions we had and very willing to work within our budget.

Great Oak and Architect Mike Messinger are professional, experienced, and easy to work with. He designed a beautiful new standalone 2 story garage and a 3 season porch for the main house. Mike also help me navigate the Town's building approval process. I would use Great Oak again and highly recommend them.

As design professionals ourselves, my husband and I were looking for an architect with an interest in creating a thoughtful but practical residential home. I am glad to say that has been achieved with our three bedroom home with great room and modern kitchen. The open balcony above the great room which connects to the bedrooms was exactly what we were looking for, and provides for good air circulation from our wood burning stove below. We have since expanded the living space by finishing the basement according to the original design. By far my favorite element to the house is the placement of the windows and the amount of natural light throughout the house.

My wife and I were impressed not only with Mike's professional approach, but also with the speed and efficiency of his getting the job done. He listens well to what our needs were.

Great Oak Studio provided Architectural services for a few of my clients, Mike was a very practical Architect who has an excellent grasp of design and detail that was essential for our projects. Mike handles his business with the utmost integrity and is a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend his firm.
