GLDesigns transformed the front of our house with a design that added balance to the house and landscape plantings that we knew was missing from our shady front exterior. Andrea Steinberg selected a variety of plants that complimented the existing large oak tree and other plants that we wanted to remain as part of the landscape. Our deteriorating front steps were replaced with new bluestone steps and bluestone walkway; overgrown shrubs were replaced by airy shrubs and a garden path that create a serene, relaxing woodland scene. Andrea gave us a beautiful, natural garden feel that we admire and enjoy everyday.

We hired GL Design to design and implement a complete renovation of our back patio, adding steps to a previously underutilized section of our yard, lighting, and landscaping. Andrea's attention to detail resulted in an outstanding design, project management, and final product. I have really appreciated the expertise, time, and dedication that GLDesigns expended when they took over renovating a landscape design, which after 15 years had proven to be not the best way to showcase our home. Andrea Steinberg spent many emails, phone consultations, and face to face meetings to make sure that we were happy with the layout, planned locations, species of plants, flower, and leaf colors, and even the affect of aroma! Andrea personally supervised all the work and has a great eye for design! The results of her work on the front yard landscape (including plantings and hardscaping) were so great that we rehired GLDesigns to renovate a backyard pond that was leaking and to do maintenance and clean-ups twice a year on all the landscaping. With the proper mulching and nutrients, our landscape has never looked healthier I highly recommend this company: they are professional, reliable, always answer your questions, and are priced fairly, as well as having a great sense of landscape design.

Have never had a problem with completion dates. They always check to see how things are doing during the year. Their designs are very well suited to my needs and the landscape. Very unusual designs and most appreciated. I have enjoyed working with them over these last few years. They bring books to show you what plants will go in. To have the entire project completed took a few years and was done in sections and the property looked great during all the three years as each section was completed.
