Gizmo Custom Systems

I found the Gizmo team after another Control4 vendor completely failed me. When I spoke with Greg, I explained what our home a/v situation was and the challenges. He offered me a reasonable set of options and, very importantly to me, promised (and delivered) a reasonable turn around. Since they inherited our poorly constructed system that faults often due to AT&T issues, Gizmo has been nothing short of fantastic. Many issues are operator error which Greg resolves quickly and many issues are C4 related that Greg and team can resolve remotely. When I wanted to rip and replace the entire system (not installed by Gizmo), Greg convinced me not to and with some tweaks it has been running smoothly ever since. Thank you Greg and team!

They were incredibly responsive, quick and did an awesome job! Greg and his staff are friendly, professional and know how to install a killer sound and television system. They are willing to go the extra mile and were very good at communicating the few times they ran into structural issues beyond their control. When that happened, they were able to come up with several good solutions on how to move forward. I recommend them to everyone!

Our new home contained a whole house audio and video system that was installed approximately 15 years ago. Gizmo was able to upgrade these systems with current technology in a neat and professional manner. Their knowledge of the latest advancements in technology and the quality of their workmanship was excellent.

Brought GIZMO in on 2 story remodel stripped to the studs. Greg met with me at the site and walked through while I indicated what I wanted. He was able to capture everything I wanted in that first and only walk thru. My project included: 1. Main room with surround sound projection tv with light dimming and blackout shade deployment capability. (Speakers were integrated into the Living room for music ambience.) 2. Five additional tvs in various rooms with connection to an outdoor camera. 3. Five phones with intercom connection. 4. Wiring of two phone lines for phone and future FAX and internet connection. Greg, with excellent knowledge, insight and judgement, provided a detailed scroll of all pieces of equipment needed for the project. He also provided a reasonably priced detailed cost breakdown and payment schedule for the project. After approving his proposal, Greg had his crew well coordinated with the General contractor to complete all wiring in sinc with the remodel project. All GIZMO crew members were very professional and focused on their tasks and did not impede the General contractor activities. At the appropriate time in the remodel, GIZMO completed their wiring in and placement of all equipment in an efficient and satisfying manner. The neat thing to note about GIZMO is that they are always there for you. When I've needed them, they respond!

My control 4 system was installed by another contractor, and after several years of issues and tweaks costing hundreds of dollars and taking up to weeks to get an appointment, I asked for a service contract, after several requests over months I got an"astronomical " quote. I decidedl this time to read reviews and called control 4 in order to find find another contractor to service my system. After my investigation,I spoke to Jeff at Gizmo and received a far more reasonable service contract quote, but Jeff suggested that many of my requests to change scenes ( based on my changing lifestyle) could be handled by Gizmo remotely ,more efficiently and cheaper. I didn't realize that in many cases cheaper meant "free" but that was the case where no house call or lengthy fix was necessary. It was only after I insisted ;that Jeff come out he did in order that I could meet him face to face. Thanks to Jeff my system now does things I didn't even know it could do. I Give Gizmo an unqualified THUMBS UP!

Job completed on time, and within budget. Always there when I need them for followup visits. Rehired them for my daughter's apt in DEC., 2015

Gizmo set up my whole house stereo, tv and Internet system 11 years ago, and have serviced it when necessary ever since. Greg Shukov and his employees are knowledgeable, professional and responsive. They show up when they say they will and get the work done. They were just here a couple of weeks ago setting up a new tv for me. They are also creative trouble shooters, when needed, as well as very nice guys. Highly recommend.
