Gittie's philosophy is to help the client achieve their vision and reflect their taste, creating original designs that are as functional as they are esthetic. Her work encompasses all project phases from conceptualization to design plans to selecting materials and surveying work all with a discerning attention to detail. The scope of her work includes detailed drawings, kitchen layouts, electrical and lighting plans, tiling plans and designing custom furniture and closets and window treatments. She works in close collaboration with architects, electricians, carpenters, kitchen specialists, lighting and landscape designers to help the client find their individual solution. Based in the historic Rechavia neighborhood of Jerusalem, Gittie often works with overseas clients who are managing their local projects from afar. Born and educated New York City, she is familiar with both the language and the lifestyle standards of the American client. She communicates regularly via email, delivering swatches and samples and managing the project in their absence.
