Gary Pools

Gary Pools was very responsive to our request for service on our salt cell not working properly. JJ came out, got us up and running and answered all our questions!! This is our second pool with them and the only company I recommend. Great company with great people.

JJ and Justin were awesome! They completed the Pool School and took care of other pool equipment needs. JJ and Justin are the best! I’d give 10 stars if I could!

Working with our pool designer Joe Breuer at Gary pools was a pure delight! When we “just stopped by Gary Pools to have a look”, and showing up unannounced we had the good fortune to be introduced to Joe…what luck of the draw that was! We only had a loose idea of what we wanted in a pool, and we were in the beginning stages of designing a detached garage/garage apartment rebuild after fire destroyed the original. We were not sure if we wanted a classic free form lagoon design or a modern pool with clean straight lines. Joe suggested a meeting at our home to better evaluate our back yard space and our garage/apartment concept. He studied our garage plan, and evaluated our backyard in order to design the pool given our constraints. The area we wanted to install the pool is fairly narrow and it is challenging in the sense there are several deceiving elevations and resulting drainage issues. Additionally we had a desire to maintain our existing trees to the maximum extent possible, and to incorporate pool views from inside our home and existing patios. I feel Joe carefully listened to all of our ideas and considered our constraints before he created a beautiful and functional modern pool design perfect for our unique space. His design maximized our pool size and seamlessly incorporated our garage plan and existing views from the house and patio areas. The best part was Joe stepped us through the process by closely listening to us and our desires. He always listened and seemed to offer the perfect input when we were indecisive. Using his creativity, and knowledge of construction he gave us the perfect design…His design is a home run! Joes fun and outgoing personality were the icing on the cake. I’m not planning to build another pool anytime soon, but if I do I’ll seek his advice immediately. I’d highly recommend talking to Joe if you are interested in designing your pool. VK

Had a leak in my pool pump. Vino came out to repair it and found it to be a bigger problem than expected. Did a great professional job even though it took longer than expected and required a additional trip back to their store for parts.

San Antonio June 100* daily temps. Gary Pools sent a Pool Tech to figure out why our Waterfall had stopped. Scott Arrived and was able to diagnosis and fix the problems that had been building for years. It was an afternoon of hot and hard work. Scott showed the willingness to get the job done and done well. He came with a good attitude and that gave me great confidence in Gary Pools Service Dept. I am really pleased with the pool fix. Ron is the best. I’ve been through a handful of service provider’s and no one gets the job done like Ron does. Super helpful, friendly personality and just an all around great guy.

If you are thinking about getting Gary Pools off Sandau in San Antonio to build your new inground pool don’t! The salesman will be great until the contact is signed and the pool build begins! I promise you will be waiting over 4 months for the pool to get started, and maybe over 12 months for the pool to be completed! Don’t let them use the excuse it was over covid that took long for some families in the past! I’m sure that’s their excuse! Their lead for construction person had a horrible attitude. We were warned by the salesman that he had a bad attitude! The first visit over the phone we knew we had to get a new construction lead. Gary Pools doesn’t care about their customers, and that includes the managers to the girl that answers the phone. Not customer friendly!

All aspects of our pool installation were stress free and professional! Matt Pompa gave us great input and worked with us on any minor issues. A great experience all around!

Aaron is awesome pool maintenance technician! He has serviced our pool for quite a while now and provides amazing targeted service! Aaron is super-dependable and his customer service skills are the best! We are very happy with Aaron's personal dedication to our pool and trust his work! We have zero issues with our pool and attribute that to the extraordinary effort and professionalism Aaron displays consistently every week! I personally believe Aaron takes care of our pool as if it is his own and for that, we are extremely grateful to have him as our pool technician and appreciative of his service to keep me and my family safe as well! We had a rust spot bleeding thru our pool floor. It kept getting bigger . Called Gary Pools and they came right out and fixed it within a day and repaired at no charge some other minor issues we had with our pool filter system . Their service man, R.J. , was excellent. Polite, professional and kept us informed at every step of the repair. You could not do better than RJ and GaryPools. Brian C.

I can't say enough positive things about the team at Gary Pools! We had a wonderful experience with them. Pete designed our dream pool! He listened to everything that was important to us and made a beautiful pool within our budget. Steve was our foreman throughout the construction process. His weekly updates always kept us in the loop. He was incredibly responsive when we had questions. Brandon has been with us every step of the way through the transition process. He is very informative and attentive. He is knowledgeable and has been such an important part of our transition from construction to pool fun. This whole team has really gone above and beyond and made the process of building a pool amazing!
