Gary Hughes Interiors

Gary Hughes was recommended by a friend of ours. I was a little dubious, but after not getting a sensible layout from the initial plans we provided to a couple of Kitchen companies, we gave Gary a try. He was very quick to understand what we wanted - which was to get a comprehensive working kitchen within the space constraints, but also to get a kitchen that looked great. Gary was very on the ball and was able to make units to fit where others had said they could not do them. He was also constructive in putting forward positive suggestions for us to consider based on amended elevations and cost. The fact that he can provide almost any colour finish was a big plus. Gary was also very flexible in accommodating specific makes and types of appliances around the units he was making. Even sorting the worktop was made easy. Now almost a year later, we are very very happy with our new kitchen and would happily recommend Gary Hughes who is very hands on in every department and wants to give you the best kitchen possible.

Gary was recommended to us by a couple of friends that have used him to build and fit their bespoke kitchens. We thought our dream kitchen and utility would be way out of our budget, but now we have both and they’re totally unique & handmade! He is very knowledgeable when it comes to planning the workflow and our cupboard space. Also, his attention to detail for design and the finishes he achieves are fantastic. He is a hard worker and is very easy to work with, nothing is too much trouble. We have already recommended him to a couple of friends!

Part of me doesn’t want to give Gary a good recommendation …because I want his skills all for myself… but if I’m not being selfish, I cannot recommend Gary enough. He has crafted so many of the features in my house, including my hand made kitchen, understairs cupboards, fitted bookcases, and more recently, an amazing craft room unit - which I show to everyone who comes into my house. Gary is a highly experienced cabinet maker. He’s technically brilliant, a problem solver and a perfectionist. He’s also a great person to be working on your house. Courteous and polite. Always reliable, punctual and communicates at every stage of the project. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gary and his work.

I cannot recommend Gary more highly. A thoughtful, creative and meticulous individual who strives for perfection in all he does. His customer service, communication and craftsmanship is first class and he is a real joy to work with. The quality of his work is faultless. I cannot wait to work with him again!

We found Gary to be a fantastic craftsman . He came to view the jobs we wanted done , listened to what we wanted , suggested tweaks , worked cleanly and efficiently and delivered outcomes which are admired by all who see them ! A lucky day when I followed his van at our local supermarket ! He’s revamped our kitchen , built wall units in the lounge , redesigned our bedroom storage ! Everything bespoke and hand crafted !
