Garden Gallery is a professional landscape design firm that has operated in Rhode Island and Massachusetts for 15 years. Our mission is to complete your project with the highest degree of quality craftsmanship and in a timely manner. We provide exceptional personal service and sustainable practices and approach, to arriving at the unique design solution for you. We work on a wide range of selected projects spanning from intimate residential gardens to large-scale master plans. In addition to residential landscape design, The Garden Gallery team designs for organizations including parks, museums, academic and corporate, and children’s gardens. Clients include the Greenhouse Apartments in Boston, The Sargent Estate in Brookline and The Children’s Museum in MA. Garden Gallery designers work collaboratively with architects, artists, and engineers and skilled craftspeople. Design service begins with a complimentary meeting with principal Beth Lennon Ranahan. Beth is a certified landscape designer from Radcliffe’s Landscape Institute of Harvard University. Beth truly enjoys bringing beauty and meaning to each individual landscape through her designs. She loves to find and enhance the existing beauty and unique qualities of the land. We also offer advising sessions based on an hourly rate for clients who may have a tighter budget or who simply would prefer to DIY and would like professional direction. In these sessions we cover aesthetics, plantings and sustainable maintenance practices. Our objective is the design of timeless and elegant landscapes; regardless of your budget, we will provide you with a one-of-a-kind outdoor environment.

Beth was wonderful to work with. We had a garden area that was completely overgrown. Beth came in with recommendations and a plan to take back our garden. She helped to recommend plants that were deer resistant which is a major problem in our yard. She kept with our color scheme incorporating some of my more mature plants into the garden. She worked very hard planting every plant with great detail! Love the results. I would highly recommend Beth and her team.

Beth from Garden Gallery recently completed a total transformation of an extremely large front bed into a lovely garden for us. All phases of the project, from initial consultation to the final plantings and mulching, were seamless and professional. Beth is very hands on and was always here overseeing or working alongside her crews and explaining everything as the work progressed. The work was completed exactly within the time frame Beth anticipated. She was an amazing resource of ideas and good advice and guided us patiently through the project from start to finish. Beth has a true talent and her passion for her work is evident in the beautiful transformation she was able to achieve for us. Our experience with Beth Ranahan was outstanding. We first contacted Beth in the Fall of 2015 to help redesign our front yard. From that time until the project kick off in June of 2016, we had several meetings and she spent a great deal of time converting our collective vision into a plan. In addition to offering up some great suggestions based on her expertise, she consulted with us and various professionals to come up with the best plan at the best value. The landscape professionals, masons and electrician she brought in to do the work were top notch, and she did an amazing job coordinating them. As she did during the planning phase, she spent a great deal of time selecting the professionals and then being here to ensure everything ran smoothly. We loved her approach of incorporating existing plantings into the new landscape and the fact that she consulted closely with us regarding the new plantings. The end result of the project held true to the initial vision that came from our first meetings. We would absolutely work with Beth again, and we would highly recommend her to anyone else.

It was my absolute pleasure and very rewarding doing your project from start to finish. Your love of nature and green living is inspiring! The beautiful patinas, shapes and texture on the reclaimed local natural stone works beautiful in your landscape setting. The stone has a story to tell, a history to be discovered and preserved. The harvested granite steps from Providence’s historical buildings and dark granite cobbles from Rhode Island rail yards that we repurposed have texture and coloring that cannot be duplicated. Your landscape is a true original with past history and future history to come.

Beth, owner of Garden Gallery, and I have worked together to enhance my very tiny city garden walkway. The first year we got rid of the uglies and laid a foundation. The second year we added more elements to the design--sculpture, concrete table and lanterns. this year, we brightened the palette and added architectural stones to create a more vibrant scape. I say we loosely because while I gave Beth parameters--no yellow--areas that I wanted addressed, I left it all up to her. As always, she exceeded my expectations. She was especially challenged this year because it has been so cold and I had a very tight timeline since I was having guests and wanted everything to look its best. My book club guests, first time visitors, were so impressed with my tiny, city oasis garden. I couldn't be more pleased. Beth is a genius when it comes to composition and design. she is always on budget and on time. It is a joy to work with her.

We hired Beth Ranahan in the summer of 2013 to redo our front yard. The results were outstanding. Beth's vision for the project far exceeded our original plans. Her design incorporated most of our existing plants. This was, of course, an economic advantage. But, it also gave the yard an immediate mature, established appearance.The centerpiece was a beautiful cobblestone walkway that connected our driveway to the front door. Our previous walkway was a ribbon of concrete to the street, rarely used. Beth Ranahan consulted closely with us during all phases of planning and installation. She came with a team of outstanding professionals: stone masons, electrictians, laborers, etc. who all arrived , as scheduled, and completed their assigned work. The Garden Gallery design added curb appeal and value to our property.The garden is now a low mainteneance beauty. I would recommended this business to everyone.

Beth took into consideration our house style and lawn frontage to create a charming blend of gardens and walkways into a welcome setting with her selection of plants and flowers. Even in the evening, with very little light, our walkway is visable for our guests. It has been many years since Beth created our gardens and walkways and everything is still in excellent condition. Beth designed and oversaw the landscaping of our back and front yard, as well as the construction of a patio. The results were just what we wanted and it looked beautiful and inviting. She was always available through the project and worked in collaboration with us. When we sold our home we are sure the beauty of our yard and patio helped sell it! We highly recommend her services.

We hired Garden Gallery to do some landscaping for us when we bought our new home in Dedham, MA about 10 years ago. In just a few short days (but lots of hard work on Beth Ranahan's part!), our yard went from non-descript/shabby to beautifully landscaped. A landscape designer, Beth is extremely knowledgeable about what plants are right for the climate and terrain involved. She also has an innate sense of artistry when choosing and positioning the plants, shrubs and trees she selects. Also of note, Beth has a reverence for the earth and its environment, making the term "green thumb" especially appropriate when describing her. Needless to say, I would highly recommend Garden Gallery as an excellent choice for anyone looking for a landscaping company.
