My client recently purchase a new construction home. Melissa was able blend some of his furniture with new pieces and created a fresh, inviting home. She chose a new color palette, (blue/sand), selected beautiful rugs and new living room furniture. She also arranged book shelves and hung pictures. Melissa was very respectful of the clients budget and the results were amazing.

I contacted Melissa a few months before I was going to put my house on the market because I wanted her input on exterior and interior house colors, and interior flooring options. She even made color recommendations for my roof replacement. This "big picture" approach increased the overall curb appeal of my house. Melissa suggested small inexpensive changes in the bathrooms and kitchen (e.g., mirror, faucet, towel rack, and lighting changes) that helped refresh the look of these rooms. We discussed in advance which pieces of my furniture would remain for the staging and which would need to be moved out to the garage, so the actual staging was a breeze. And I was very happy that she was able to use my furniture. All this attention to detail paid off as my house sold within the first week at a great price. Melissa was easy to work with, was very professional, and budget conscious. I would work with her again if the opportunity arose.

Melissa worked with me twice at my home. First, to incorporate furniture after my Mom’s passing then a couple of years later to stage my home in preparation for its sale. I appreciated her using items I had on hand creating a warm setting which I could easily live in while my house was on the market. She understood the feeling I wanted as well as what was best for showing my home’s best features.

As a home stager Melissa is an absolute gem to work with. I’ve used her to stage my house twice. She has excellent attention to detail, and really works to insure your home is the best it can look. Melissa and her team were incredible to work with. I had an offer on my condo the first weekend it was listed, and I genuinely believe that it's in large part because of how beautifully it was staged. They got the unit staged quickly and effectively and worked with me to determine the best timing to de-stage. The staging was clean and light and showed the unit perfectly. Melissa gave careful consideration to the amount and size of the furniture used. Atlanta’s Paces Construction Co. recently employed Melissa Barronton, and her firm fynHome Staging & Redesign, to stage a client’s remodeled home the week before its inclusion in The Junior League of Atlanta 2016 Tour of Kitchens. Melissa designed the décor of the home so those on tour of the property could focus entirely upon the newly remodeled features. She was able to declutter numerous spaces, embellish others and helped maximize floor space for easier flow of high volume tour traffic. She incorporated existing furniture and items into her design while adding art, rugs, floral arrangements and numerous accessories to convey a fresh and cohesive look to the decor. It was incredible how much a difference the staging made in just one day of rearranging, adding and subtracting to complement the renovations that had taken months to complete. The turnaround time took less than a week after the initial meeting to view the property and then stage the whole first floor of the home (front entrance, foyer, living room, new bar, office, great room, dining room, new kitchen, new butler’s pantry and new laundry / mudroom). Melissa also had the home destaged the day after the tour event (at least to the extent the clients allowed her firm to put everything back the way it was before). The homeowners had loved the fresh perspective so much, they where already in the process of purchasing similar items before Melissa destaged the home.
