Having our bathrooms renovated by Full House was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Design and planning were thorough and always ensured that we understood exactly what was going on. The crew were meticulous in their work and attention to detail. They did whatever possible to keep disruption to a minimum and respect our privacy. All the people at Full House Renovations were great to work with, from the design stage through to final construction of our kitchen. It was a thorough process. If issues came up they were promptly addressed. Their communication with us was great. They listened to our ideas on what we wanted and and worked with us. On time and on budget aren't words we hear often in the renovation business; but that's exactly what we experienced working with Barry Jaenen at Full House Renovations! He took our ideas, and offered some of his own that we wouldn't have even considered, and it turned out better than we could have imagined! This isn't the first time we've counted on Barry, but it was the first complete overhaul! A 12-hundred foot condo, remodelled from floor to literally ceiling. It's Barry's attention to detail that really makes the difference! A couple of times during the project he'd call with a suggestion, because something just didn't look "right". And no, these suggestions didn't always cost more money! The crew worked seamlessly and without issue within the guidelines of the condo board, and didn't receive a single complaint from neighbours or Strata. It was spotlessly cleaned, and each lightbulb was changed to maintain lighting consistency throughout the unit -- as I said, attention to detail!

We were very pleased with the renovation from start to finish. Everyone was so nice to deal with. We are thrilled with our renovation. We will definitely recommend Full House Renovations to others and will definitely use them ourselves for future renovations.

We have been working with Full House since we bought our 1960s home in 2019. We have renovated our basement, office, kitchen, gym, and built an attached 700 square foot, 3 car garage with loft. Our experience with Full House has been exceptional. The in-house trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mill work, finishing and painting) as well as their sub contractors, have always been respectful, professional, tidy, and conscientious that we were living in the house throughout renovations. The site foreman communicated regularly too keep us up to date on schedule and potential delays. Brenda, the interior designer worked extensively with us and was readily available to meet with us on site throughout all stages of our renovations, making thoughtful recommendations and renderings to help us visualize the concept. She made our ideas for our mid-century home become a reality. The professionalism and work ethic of all the Full House staff is a reflection on owner, Greg Pointe. He has tremendous integrity. He was thoughtful and honest about scope of the project and all expenses and helped us work within our budget while still delivering a finished project that exceeded our expectations! We recommend Full House without reservation and in fact, are already planning our next project.

Thought we’d take the time to review Full House (FH) after a nearly 10 month extensive renovation/rebuild of our originally built 1924 house. The scope of this project was definitely larger than we had originally anticipated, but it was easily taken on by the team at FH. By the time construction actually started (after the permitting process), we were living in the 3600 sq ft house which had both a new addition and loft/garage rebuilt within 6 months. I interviewed a few different local builders, and in comparison to the progress on other projects in the area, I thank ourselves every day for choosing to work with FH. Honest feedback, I believe we got great quality, quick timelines and a decent price. I’m sure there are other companies out there prepared to do similar projects for cheaper, but I wasn’t prepared to run into roadblocks and wanted someone experienced within this high end market. I believe FH specializes in working with older character homes and preserving the feel. Their experience was a huge benefit when it came to decisions on the fly. The company lead was very knowledgeable and super respectful. I do believe he has a passion for this industry, and the products/sub trades he uses show. I don’t think there was a single sub trade that fell short! Any bumps in the road were handled by the top, and we appreciate this. Issues can easily be brushed under the rug – I didn’t feel this to be the case. The on-site we dealt with day-in-day-out was awesome! He knows his stuff, appreciates the client perspective and was in constant communication with me. This is where projects can go sideways quickly! We text nearly everyday, mostly with his recommendations to help with a timely delivery. Ask for Marinus if you go with FH…! It was a lengthy project and I’m glad he was on site daily. A few points to keep in mind. When taking on such a large build, ensure you read the contract in detail and be aware of what’s specifically included, I learnt a lot here and may have initially overlooked some items. Have a rough understanding for design and products while crafting your contract, otherwise pricing may not be what you expect. Detailed design and refined selections within your predetermined budget can help save money and in hindsight, both their design team and us could have been better with this. I’d recommend FH to anyone, including family and friends, contemplating a renovation. Based on our experience, they could probably even do a good job building brand new – we were nearly there ourselves!! Great job FH!

Wendy and I were very impressed with the overall performance of Full House Renovations during our main floor renovation. Barry provided a very thorough estimate and scope of work document. Brenda was great with helping us pick out flooring material/paint colors. The trades people, led by Ken, were very professional and easy to work with. Clean up was done every day. Kudos to them all!! We were given a time table at the beginning of the project and Ken provided us with updates throughout the project. The reno was completed on time and the workmanship was outstanding, exceeding our expectations! I am certainly not the type of person to write reviews; but, I need to say that I have used Greg, from Full House Renovations, for many projects (big and small) over the past 15 years at my home in Edmonton. Recently (March 2020 to July 2020) I did a major renovation consisting of moving walls, installing beams, complete kitchen renovation, major 5-bathroom renovation and blew the back out of the house making 2 more rooms. I was very surprised they could do a job this large in just 5 months. That was a large project and from the initial meeting with Greg (one of the owners and estimators) to the final touch ups being done I was extremely happy with their process and their great workmanship. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail is truly amazing. I know a lot about construction, and I will admit that I am a very fussy and persnickety customer; however, they far exceeded my expectations for this large full home renovation that involved all 3 levels of my home and took 10 months. Over the past four years I have referred Greg, at Full House, to many of my friends and family who have been very happy with them. Three of my neighbour’s have also used Full House in the past 2 years and they were also very happy. I compared Full Houses pricing for my recent major renovation, and they were very similarly priced to their competitors. This has been our 3rd time using Full House to update our 1950’s bungalow and once again it has been a positive experience. This project was a full kitchen renovation . Barry and his knowledgeable staff with their attention to design, craftsmanship and the fine details made our kitchen look incredible! Any concerns were handled with professionalism and followed up on. They will definitely be our choice for our next renovation and we highly recommend Full House.

Dishonest,don’t stand behind their work.They built custom bathroom cabinets that started to peel after 3 months of once a week use,fan on and bathroom door wide open.They say it’s moisture damage that is our fault.Of course there is moisture damage when the stain is defective and the fan didn’t function properly.We were told by the company that the stain used on our cabinets was defective and they had to quit using it.They then backtracked and said it was due to moisture and poor care but that they would help us out anyway.They told us the fan they installed and chose was not good enough so they installed a new one partly at our cost.During the install they told us that the original ducting that they installed was downgraded to a much smaller diameter causing poor airflow.They corrected the ducting with the new fan install.They still insisted the moisture damage was our fault.They said the bathroom was too small for the shower except they designed it.They wanted us to pay for material and they pay for labour to replace the cabinets which we agreed to.Five yrs and we have never received a quote or had any work done.They talked down to us and told us to be patient over and over again.They are saying we were difficult yet we agreed to everything.They reassessed over and over never giving us a quote.Putting us on hold for so many different reasons mostly various personal and business challenges of the owner but also just delaying things with no reason.

I had an entire home renovation done by Full House Renovations that was completed in May 2020. I truly cannot believe how Full House transformed my extremely outdated home into one of the most beautiful living spaces I've ever seen! Full House was incredibly professional, organized, and timely throughout the entire process. They were able to work remotely with me, as I was almost always out of town. The designer Brenda made the process very easy. I still cannot believe how quickly they did the renovations and that I get to call this new place my home. Thank you, Full House!

Full House Renovations did a fantastic job of making my dream of a main floor laundry room into a reality. We had a great kitchen renovation done by Full House Renovations in August 2019 and we have been very pleased with the finished product. The job was completed on time and budget and the company did a lot of prep work to make the job go quickly. All the staff we interacted with very very professional and pleasant. We contracted Full House Renovations to finish our basement. We were impressed with the high level of service provided by the staff as well as the quality of craftsmanship. The trades people were respectful. The site was kept clean. All of the staff responded to our questions and requests in a courteous manner. We were kept in the loop regarding the progression of our project. We highly recommend this company. We absolutely love our new basement!

From the first contact with Full House right up to the final walk through we were thrilled with the entire experience. We felt like partners through the entire project. The designers took the time to understand who we are and what we were looking for. They pushed our thinking leading to an amazing space. The workers treated the entire renovation like it was their own. They were transparent around upgrades, all costs, and the progress. I would not hesitate to recommend Full House and all of their workers who were amazing. The only challenge is our dog misses them coming over.

Very pleased with the results from renovation project undertaken by Full House Renovations Inc. Had contacted Full House on a recommendation of a family member a number of years earlier but at that time did not take projects in St. Albert. Full House provided excellent advice on the redesign of bonus room and bathroom renovations. Space utilization amazing with the redesign proposed. Excellent quality work by all staff who worked on the renovation project. A special thanks to Ken Horhut for ensuring the success of the project. Will definitely utilize Full House again.

I would recommend this business without hesitation. I had my kitchen fully renovated, some closet doors replaced, all door knob hardware replaced, electric fireplace and flat screen tv installation, and floors replaced in the kitchen, back entranceway, basement and one bathroom. One of the great advantages is that they do not use any sub-trades. All trades are direct employees of the company. I was happy with all my services and they always kept us up-to-date with the progress of the project. If you needed to reach someone, there was always someone available. My main office contact was Sue and she is amazing. I have a dog and they were kind enough to always keep me informed of days when no one would be in my home so that she could remain in the home and take a day off of daycare. Contract is very detailed and was accurate.

Very professional, showed respect for my husband and pet during the renovation, they were able to work around us, while we lived in the house at the same time as the reno was being done. Addressed all defeciencies, and were able to do extras that we required.
