Frank built a deck for me a while back and laid the pad for a garage; it was great finding someone local to do it and I was extremely pleased with the results. The quality was top notch and I'd absolutely use him again for future projects.

Frank and his team just recently remodeled all of our decks on the back of our house. The project included 3 levels of decks, new retaining walls, with an 18x18 vaulted screen porch of our sunroom. We couldn't be more pleased. His team takes pride in ensuring a quality structure that will last for many years. And the finishing work was beautiful. From the wide columns and the ipe flooring on the screen porch, they used nothing but quality materials. Frank and his team of professionals were a pleasure to work with during the recent renovation of our deck and sunroom conversion. Decks are their specialty and the quality is in every detail, but the show stopper is the sunroom conversion. While working through the supply chain issues of the Summer, Frank and his team of professionals built a space for my family to grow and enjoy for many years to come. When we do sell, the sunroom will sell this house -- floor to ceiling windows on one side, fireplace with built-in desks, saved the tile floors to keep costs down, 15-foot accordion style door that opens onto a beautifully crafted deck. We love our sun-filled, family-friendly, new space. So in conclusion, would I hire Decks & More again? Emphatically, yes.

We had a positive experience with Frank of Decks and More. We replaced a 30' two tier deck and privacy wall and added a gate. Frank was very responsive and always returned calls. His carpentry crew is talented and can perform intricate woodwork. Frank handled the permitting process and there were no issues working with the City of Decatur. He stayed on schedule throughout. We had one miscommunication on the design and Frank resolved the issue without a change order. He wasn't the cheapest quote, but you get what you pay for and he delivered on a quality product.

Decks & More did an outstanding job on our project. Frank and his team carefully listened to our needs, provided options based on their vast experience and as issues were found with our old deck and Underdeck system they addressed them with our new deck and Underdeck. I highly recommend Decks and More! I met several times with Frank before, during, and after my deck was completed and he always answered my questions and helped me with some of my decisions. I wanted a different style staircase that included 4 1/2" steps and lighting on every other step for night time darkness. This staircase was designed for my elderly family members. Frank was able to construct exactly what I wanted and the entire deck and staircase is beautiful. I have been told by neighbors that it is the best looking deck in our subdivision. Not only is Frank excellent to work with but his crew that worked on my home for 3 weeks were equally professional and accessible for any questions I had during the time of construction. I need to share a story that will explain what I mean. Two week into the construction it was time to install a new door for access into my garage. Franks workers discovered that the size of the door was too large for the opening. They discussed the issue with me in a calm and professional manner. They rewrapped the door, slid it on the back of the truck and drove it back to Home Depot with my paperwork and returned in an hour with a new door that was the correct size. They installed the door and it looks great. Also, the new door was $19.00 less than the original door and they gave me a gift card for that amount by Home Depot. The quality of their work was beyond my expectations. They are an extension of Frank's knowledge and accessibility. If you are looking for a contractor, I would highly suggest you contact Frank. My wooden deck was falling apart and needed a replacement. I decided to go with composite decking instead of wood. His pricing was comparable to another company which provided a "general" estimate. However, I chose Frank because considering the investment, I was more comfortable with being able to deal with the owner directly instead of a company with a sales team where I had to leave a message and wait 2-3 days for a response. Frank met with me and was very attentive to the specific elements I wanted. He provided options with clear pricing on the specific things I wanted. He communicated with me in a timely fashion throughout the entire project. The crew was excellent. The craftmanship is outstanding. I am 100% pleased with what they have done. Additionally, he went the extra mile and did things like replace exterior outlets, and replaced and painted a few pieces of siding.

Frank helped me when no one else would! I actually was referred to him by another contractor when I asked if they can help me dealing with my insurance company. Once I met with Frank, he was very clear on the process and was able to establish a timeline. He created a detailed estimate for my previous deck damage, gave those details to my insurance company and worked with them to have an realistic amount of compensation. After that, it was about a month, start to finish, where my old deck was removed and a new one was built. The quality is top-notch! My new deck looks amazing, feels and looks secure and I cannot wait to start using it for football season and next spring/summer!! I wouldn't have this deck without Frank's help and the help of the great crew at Decks and More! 10/10 would recommend!!

Another great project with Decks and More- 1950s Ranch Facelift When it’s time to update your home, Decks and More is the company to call. Buh-bye ugly roof over the bay window, overgrown shrubbery, and original siding and iron railings. Frank and I met to share ideas for updates to my home and developed a plan for the following changes- •Change the roof line with a gable roof extension and roof extension on the right side •Decorative cedar brackets under the roof extensions •New siding and shake style siding on the front of the house •New porch columns and rails •Stacked stone (custom-chiseled) along the foundation •New gutters and downspouts •New paint on all side of the home Once again, Frank and his crew exceeded my expectations. After designing a plan, Frank and his crew made suggestions that made the “facelift” even better than I expected. We planned for the gable extension but found the roof line needed to be extended on the right side for better balance. I continue to be amazed by how the materials are custom for each project: the cedar brackets were crafted on site and the stacked stone was chiseled on-site. The work was completed on time and the quality is outstanding. I highly recommend Decks and More!

Frank and his team did a fantastic job on our new deck and underneath seating area. We had an old deck and the seating/patio area underneath was not usable. Frank went through all options with us, and in all price ranges. Once we had a plan, the crews were always on time and very professional. Everything is beautiful!

We had the corner of our horizontal 6ft privacy fence pulled up by a large tree during the last big storm. We had a tree fall on our home, and it destroyed our deck and did major damage Frank from Decks and More came out and made an assessment. Had an issue from ground settling under a post on a deck that Frank put in several years ago. Even though we were outside the warranty period, he came out the next day and had it replaced two days later for no charge.

Decks & More just re-built my 2-story deck. I bid the job to a couple different contractors and even though the overall cost was more than I wanted to spend and he wasn't the absolutely cheapest, I trusted Frank to deliver craftsmanship & value to my house (it is my biggest investment after all). He has a sample book with many design options; we went with oversized 8'x8' support posts, aluminum balusters, and night lighting. Being in the City of ATL there were a couple more hopes to jump and Frank handled everything. I recommend Frank with Decks & More.

We had a tree come through our screened porch - damaged but not destroyed. Our insurance company said, for such a small repair job, you’re better off with a company that specializes in porches and decks. We called a few contractors but Frank was the only one who seemed enthusiastic about the project. Long story short, after a lot of back and forth with the insurance company, Frank basically negotiated us a brand new deck and screened porch instead of just putting a band-aid on our 50+ year old structure. He even got insurance to cover some “pre-existing conditions” to bring the structure up to code to pass inspection, after insurance *insisted* that they would not cover that. In addition to being our insurance savior, Frank’s crew does fantastic and beautiful work. The screened porch has a vaulted tongue-and-groove ceiling and diagonal floor decking. They also installed a new roof on the whole house, and replaced the porch gutters to match the existing gutters. Frank himself didn’t just schedule subs and walk away, he kept on top of the work and took care of all kinds of small details without nickel and diming us. The only thing we really had to do was buy a ceiling fan and some light fixtures. We couldn’t be happier with this project and have already recommended Decks & More to many neighbors who complimented the new porch and deck.

When we began researching contractors to build our 9x16 walk in closet, 16x25 sunroom and 14x14 deck we spoke to at least 5 different contracting companies. We received quotes back from 2, one of which we had to call the owner multiple times to get the quote. The one company who not only listened closely to what we wanted and followed up quickly with a quote was Frank Pologruto, the owner of Decks and More. Frank followed up multiple times and really made us feel special and that he wanted our renovation project. Frank was not the lowest quote, however he was absolutely within a reasonable range of pricing. The team assigned to us included Mike, our project manager, Freddy the crew lead and Juan did the sheetrock and paint. This team created a space beyond expectation. The ceiling in the sunroom is artwork, as well as the beautiful mantle made of red oak. As with all projects not everything goes perfectly and the mark of a true professional is how less than ideal circumstances are managed. We had a minor blip and Frank and his team handled it like champs. They resolved the issue and stayed on schedule. I cannot recommend this company enough, they have integrity in their work and are very respectful of your family and your home. I hired Frank Pologruto of Decks and More and am thrilled with the outcome. Can you find someone cheaper to do your project? Absolutely. But, you won't find anyone better. This is definitely a case of getting what you pay for! I am not am easy person to work for, and I can be a royal pain in the back-side. When Frank and I first met, I had loads of questions, and Frank was very patient, and gracious in making sure that I understood everything. He required a small fee up front, but returned about a week later with three different drawings, and a detailed proposal with lots of options and features. Once we decided on all the bells and whistles, Frank and his crew got started. The project was finished on time and on budget. One of the things that amazed me most, was how well they cleaned up after themselves. If it weren't for the shiny new addition, you'd never know they were ever there! Frank Pologruto is an artist with an eye for detail, and I am looking forward to hiring him again for my next project!

Frank has done it again! I can't say enough about Decks and More. I had my deck built almost 8 years ago by them. I had a little leak at the base of the roof near the gutter. Before, I called anyone I contacted Frank. He returned my phone call promptly. I explained the problem...he had his roofer out the next day to take care of it with NO CHARGE. The construction quality was superb. Great attention to detail and desire to please. Worked hard to correct all areas of concern in a timely manner. They were definitely not the cheapest quote we got, but you get what you pay for - at least in this case. The reconstructed screened porch is gorgeous.

Dazzling Deck After looking around at different deck contractors it was very apparent that Deck & More had more ideas and enthusiasm than any other deck contractors. Frank is a fantastic deck designer. He turned our ugly deck into a gorgeous screened room with vaulted ceilings travertine floors. He also designed our beautiful outdoor kitchen, and rebuilt a side porch and made it a beautiful screened room. He also added low voltage lighting to stairs for a warm glow at night.
