This is meant to be a five-star plus review! Because of Jorge, every guest who walks into our remodeled master bathroom says the same thing, either “awesome” or “amazing,” then adds, “it looks like a spa.” We had asked Jorge to update our bathroom, which had a small shower and a laundry closet. He reconfigured it so that we now have a tiled, backlit, suspended ceiling, a European tub centerpiece under a stained glass window, and a double-sized shower with water panels on opposite sides and a rain shower in the middle. We also have matching vanities on opposite sides, with electrical outlets hidden in drawers, and, somehow, more storage space than we had previously. (all in the original space) It’s fabulous! The design process was fun and exciting. Jorge proposed several ideas and showed us multiple renditions until we were satisfied. He then came with us to pick out tile, and also made suggestions for wall color, vanity handles, pendants, and every other item necessary. He was extremely cost conscious and made purchases thru Flux, passing on his discount to us! During construction we had a big problem with our contractor, causing us extreme anxiety. But, Jorge stepped in on our behalf and took over. He guided everything, well beyond the scope of architect/designer, particularly for such a small project. He came by nearly every day. He was so attentive and comforting that we remained confident the work would be completed properly, which it eventually was. Obviously, Jorge’s design vision and creativity are extraordinary, evidenced by our immense satisfaction with the result and the rave reviews we’ve gotten. But, even more than that, he cared so much, he made it his personal goal to serve us whenever we needed his advice, and he became a good personal friend. My advice to anyone reading this is, you need to work with Jorge. He is very special!

My husband and I were going to remodel our bedroom/bathroom/closet and wanted a contemporary design. This would involve removing and establishing new walls, etc. It was hard to find a place of business that could design something unique and contemporary. We were told about FLUX Architecture by a friend and contacted Jorge Bazan. He was a pleasure to deal with. We told him what we were looking for and he produced a design that was totally unique. We had not seen anything like this in our two years of planning this project. Jorge not only designed the space but also handled the construction by hiring the contractor and supervising the work. We ended up wth a spacious master suite that once was a series of small rooms. Walls were removed and the layout redesigned to create an open, luxurious walk-in bath, with a shower panel with 2 large shower heads that create a rainfall effect, a handheld showerhead, massage water jets and water spout on the bottom with custome made cabinets. Also a huge custom design walk in closet with pull down rods, a great way to reach high hanging clothes easily. A beautiful mater bedroom with a floating wall and Brazilian wood floors throughout. Seeing how well our project was turning out, we decided to renovate the hall bath and the adjacent bedroom. The end product is incredible. We definitely would recommend Jorge Bazan for his creativity and professionalism.

FLUX designed our home in Queretaro, Mexico, and it was a good experience. Jorge and his firm worked personally with us to create an ideal design that fits our lifestyle and expectations. He started by listening to our needs, thoughts, and wishes. He then took us step by step through his process and transformed our ideas into a beautiful design. As he worked, he constantly updated us with images. It was fascinating to me to see how Jorge transforms an idea into beautiful shapes which then becomes the home we always dreamed of. The best part was seeing the amazing staircase he created specifically for our home come to fruition. His process creates a lot of models which were very helpful for us to see exactly what the final product would look like. FLUX fabricated the stair in-house and had it delivered to the jobsite to assure that it would be done correctly. FLUX truly focused on every detail to ensure a successful project. Jorge made our house feel like home throughout the process. He made the whole experience fun while his creativity, use of materials, and sculptural design created a beautiful piece of art. In the end, we had a custom home that was on budget and an absolute one of a kind home. We recommend FLUX Architecture + Design with the highest admiration.

Jorge Bazan is not only a brilliant and creative architect, he has a real understanding as to the costs and value of new construction. I have worked with many architects in the past, and he is by far the most attentive to the relationship between beauty and style while finding the most effective places to spend money on your home. His designs are amazing and his persistent attention to detail is very comforting. I look forward to working with him time and time again.

My husband and I used FLUX architecture and design to create our dream mountain home..........I know they specialize in modern architecture, but, believe me, they also hit the ball out of the park with our mountain home. Jorge came to the cabin, took our wishes into consideration, and, then totally revamped our entire floor plan..........it was incredible. We actually ended up putting a gorgeous kitchen in the area where there once was a bedroom, and he moved the bedroom to the front of the house, expanding walls and designing the most incredible ceiling ever! We were totally pleased with Flux, and in particular Jorge. He was very easy to work with, detailed, dependable, and was professional as could be. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for their perfect remodel!!
