Flores Artscape provided our family with a beautiful backyard and useable space where before there were just weeds. Me and my wife provided Eric with a rudimentary drawing of what we thought would be a cool backyard, but Eric really captured and augmented. He truly managed to exceed our expectations in every way. The team was professional, on-time and the gentlemen that actually performed the work were truly artists. From laying pavers and DG to hanging trellis' and framing and pouring a large BBQ and bar, they could do it all. The finished product was worth every dime. Additionally, they started the project quickly and through two weeks of efficient work - completed on time, at budget without any issues. 10/10 would recommend them. The team was great in implementation and staying on time and budget while responding to my requests and making some changes. All take pride in their work and it shows in the final product. We had a fairly complex project that included: New decomposed granite installation, removal of old DG, new irrigation systems along our fence line and front yard area, removing and re-potting plants that were previously in areas where the new DG went down. Their communication was always prompt and informative. They did a great job assessing the project and providing a complete project plan that they stuck to - and provided an estimate that was right on budget and plan. The work crew was focused, and got the job done quickly. There were no "stop/start/stop again" delays - just dedicated time, and a commitment to getting the job done right. Flores provided a few really good suggestions about how we could optimize for low-water use landscaping. The best part however - was the team. They were always friendly, accommodating, and professional. We knew we were in good hands the whole time, and we love the result. Our dog Milo loves it too! Thanks Flores!!!

Where do I start! I am so grateful to have found Flores Artscape and could not be happier with the results. I live in a house where my front yard is my only yard (there is no backyard) and I wanted to start making use of this outside space. With a 2-year-old toddler and 2 fur babies needing an outdoor environment, I needed it to be safe and practical for all. I had my own set of design ideas but knew that I needed guidance and an expert eye to make my ideas a reality. What I knew I wanted: artificial (pet friendly) turf on one side and a deck on the other side. This is where Eric comes in. Eric was the salesperson/designer that came out to provide a consultation and quote. Eric is awesome! He is this really cool, super knowledgeable, honest, personable guy and he totally sold it for me. He is a great representation of this company and after meeting him, I knew that I wanted to do business with this company. What I appreciated the most was that Eric was honest with me. I shared some of my ideas and although he never said it could not be done, he gave me great feedback including why he "would or would not do this/that" for me to think about. In turn, he provided me with other design ideas that I had not considered, which I ended up following through with and getting done. The only bummer was that after that initial contact, I was only able to thank Eric via email. Thanks again Eric! Next was Arturo, the amazing project manager. I cannot say enough about the level of professionalism and customer care Arturo demonstrated. There were multiple daily check-ins with me throughout the process to see if I had any questions or concerns. Be prepared, this company sends an army of workers to get your project done! Arturo was skilled at coordinating all the work and getting his crew to get the project done in a timely manner. Daily, each group of workers knew their task and got it done. It took these guys less than 2 weeks (about 9-10 days) to finish the project. They work fast (excellent work ethic!!), they are detailed oriented (the nails on my deck could not be any straighter), they clean-up at the end of each workday and they are all just a great group of workers. Financially, this was certainly an investment. I believe that they are pretty comparable with other companies, maybe a little bit more expensive, but it has truly been worth every penny. Their work is impeccable, and it has been one of the most stress-free house renovations that I've had done. More importantly, the best part of it all, has been seeing my little girl enjoy the new grassy area and beautifully constructed deck. I am so incredibly grateful! :)

Our newly purchased home was completely renovated by the seller, and looked fantastic...with the exception of the backyard (I guess they ran out of money). So after moving in, we hired Flores Artscape to bring the backyard up to par with the rest of our new home. Flores Artscape did an amazing job, were a pleasure to work with, and I plan to re-hire them for a new project on our front yard next year! When choosing our contractor to renovate our yard, we researched dozens of companies, and narrowed our choices down to three to meet and interview on-site. Eric from Flores Artscape impressed us the most with his professionalism, preparedness, and deep knowledge. He had very informative answers to all our questions, and even pushed back on some of our initial ideas--citing ways to save on costs, materials that could work better, or design choices that may be a better fit. That pushback is something we especially appreciated, and was often missing from our other two initial “sales pitch” meetings with the other contractors, who seemed to agree with whatever they thought would make us happy and sign a contract. Once we signed with Flores Artscape, work began very quickly. As new homeowners, this was our first time doing a major renovation project, and we weren’t quite sure what to expect. After all, we’ve all heard horror stories about contractors delaying builds, stopping work halfway for weeks at a time, demanding huge additional costs/charges, etc… I assumed the project would take 2-3 months, with another few weeks of added delay time (especially considering the pandemic, labor shortages, building material shortages, etc…). It turns out all our concerns were completely unwarranted… they estimated the job would be done in 6 weeks, and they were absolutely correct! Throughout the build, the entire Flores Artscape team was incredibly responsive, with emails and text messages often answered within minutes. Any changes to the proposed timeline or schedule were fully communicated in advance, and we felt completely in the loop the entire time. If we ever had any questions or concerns, we never felt like we were being brushed off or met with radio silence. Good communication is key, and the Flores team absolutely delivers here. As with any large renovation project, there are going to be some problems. As happy as we are with the work Flores Artscape did, we do have a complaint about one aspect of our yard. A few weeks after our project finished, our DG (decomposed granite) pathways started showing rather large cracks. Fortunately, even though our project ended weeks prior, Flores Artscape sent someone out to take a look the very next day. Ultimately they had a team of 3 guys come and re-work parts of the pathway within a few days. Great service!

Flores Artscape, Inc. is an amazing company who completed a beautiful renovation to our house’s façade and front yard. From the initial estimate through project planning, execution, and completion, every member of the Flores Artscape team accomplished their role with professionalism and integrity. The quality of the work was top-notch, and each step of the project was clearly explained to us. We felt taken care of, and our house has never looked better – all completed on time and on budget! We also loved supporting a family-owned, local business whose work is something the whole neighborhood can be proud of.

Needed a backyard overhaul including landscape, grass, etc. Flores Art did a perfect job. Very buttoned up. Responsive, timely, professional, listened to my requests and some changes, and got the job done. And the end result was beautiful! We were looking to do a smart yard revamp on a new rental property in Los Angeles. The property had a remodeled house and a recently-built 2nd unit. So, we wanted a landscape design that would work with a budget for a rental, as well as provide separation of space for the tenants that were going to be in each unit. Also, since I don't live in LA, I needed a team that I could trust to communicate creatively with me and get the work done in an organized manner. After interviewing several firms, I felt that Flores was the best fit as they were happy to get creative to get this done on a budget, were available, and were well versed in what would work in this situation. Cody was on top of the project from day 1, and presented a design that matched our goals. Eric and team communicated almost daily, and offered solutions and suggestions that I hadn't even thought of. We spent a LONG time going through the deck of colors for the sunshade, and it was clear that they really wanted the best for our project. They were able to come up with great plants that will require almost no work, suggestions for pops of color, and a design that maximizes use of a shared space. These were definitely the best vendors that we worked with on this remodel. I have already invited them to look at another of our properties....

Flores Artscape did a great job on our backyard renovation project. The whole team was friendly and dedicated, responsive and easy to reach and work with throughout the project. From the first phone call to completion of my backyard project, it was a pleasure to work with such a professional and caring company. This is actually the best experience with contractors I’ve ever had (and believe me, I’ve done plenty of every kind of remodel and landscape work). Reviews of Flores Artscape are exceptional and their website introduces you to the staff, from the owners to the office team, the designers, and the landscaping crew members. Armando Jimenez was my consultant. He listened patiently to my ideas and wants, understanding that all of it was above my budget, but we worked together to prioritize and get this plan to an exciting vision. 
 Eric Wills was the operations guy, he kept things on schedule and made sure that materials were here and everyone knew what they were handling. He thought of everything, even before I did and always with a smile. A huge thank you to Carlos, Juan Carlos, Angel, Leobardo, Arturo, Jose and ALL the other crew members who were sent over and worked hard and tirelessly to make this happen with little disruption. They made sure I had access to my driveway every evening and were always here when they said. Communication was excellent. Daisy Quitana made paperwork seamless and simple. The owner Rumaldo Flores, was present, engaged and took pride in the work done here. He was like a devoted family member. I can’t say thank you enough to him and Flores Artscape for an amazing and zen space that my family and friends will enjoy tremendously!

We recently worked with Flores Artscape to redo the grass and gardens in the front and back of our house, install a new sprinkler system, and do some general clean up. We found FA through a bunch of online research. We looked at Yelp, Houzz, NextDoor, etc and they were on the top of every landscape & design list we could find. Every step of the process was extremely smooth and we were impressed (and very thankful) for the amount of attention we received, especially since our project was much smaller than others they work on. The upfront proposal process was very simple and transparent. Cody walked through the property with us while we described our needs and priced everything piece-by-piece, which made it very easy to understand the costs and manage to our budget. He was also available via text/email throughout the process to answer all our questions. Once the work started, it all happened very fast. Our property is small, but the FA team worked quickly and efficiently and the work product is very high quality. Even the planter boxes we installed in our backyard were completely built from scratch. The entire process (from our first kick-off meeting to completion) took less than a month and the actual physical work period was less than a week. The final result has completely transformed our property. I 100% recommend Flores Artscape to anyone who wants to upgrade their landscaping and would only work with them for any landscaping projects going forward.

You will not find a better landscape company than Flores Artscape. We recently used them to completely redo both our front and backyard into a cleaner, more drought tolerant look. Not only did they knock it out of the park on the looks, they did it in record time. From the time I placed the call to the final payment being made was two weeks! We even had them come back with a few small tweaks which they did happily. The entire team is courteous and hard working and I can't recommend them enough.

Man, these guys just check all the boxes! We've been thinking about redo-ing our backyard for awhile and after spending 18 months of getting bids from a couple different places, we were so frustrated at the lack of response and professionalism from a lot of companies! We were sure the process was going to take years. In comes Flores, who started our job within 48 HOURS of us contacting them! (And the bid came to us the SAME day!) . Professional, and super chill and easy to work with! Our job was on the larger side, (demo, excavating a bit, pouring concrete, building stairs, a retaining wal, pergola & privacy wall) and they knocked it out of the park. We were able to send them my 'inspiration' photos from my pinterest board, they took those and worked with us closely to ensure the design was what we wanted. The crew was here for about 3 weeks (would have been a bit shorter had we not had so much rain). EVERY worker who was here was so nice, in particularly to our toddler who was obsessed with all their work & tools. Price-wise they were super comparable to everywhere else, so they were by far the best deal when you factor in the customer service Thank you Flores (Cody, Eric, Jessie & all the amazing crew!)

It would be impossible to recommend Flores Artscapes highly enough! They exceeded my expectations every step of the way. They are true artists and within two weeks of calling them I am able to write this looking out at the backyard I had been dreaming about!. Not only was their workmanship and attention to detail with the install impeccable, but I was really impressed with how the business itself is run. Communication was very clear from beginning to end. The bid, contracts, and work orders were very easy to understand and submit online. I was always able to reach someone in the office if I had questions and all of my emails were answered promptly. For the install they brought a large team and within a day and a half had removed an insane amount of weeds, installed plumbing (hard plumbing both for this project and for a future fountain), laid weed barrier, installed a layer of pea gravel, hauled away a significant amount of debris, and installed and filled new raised beds (including running soft drip lines underground for each bed). It was really amazing to see it all come together so quickly! On top of all this, Rumaldo (Owner), Arturo (Consultant), Carlos (Forman), and Daisy (Billing) were all were all so kind and attentive. I really felt like I was their only project even though I know that they had several other jobs going on. I will definitely be working with Flores Artscapes again!

Cody saw the vision we desired then offered his expertise in various types of material and plants to achieve that goal. My experience with Flores Artscape was excellent. They earned my trust right away by responding quickly to my emails and showing up on time the next day to assess the work. When we started our backyard, it was a disaster. We had a tear down and re-build project that we delayed for literally a decade. We turned to Flores Artscape to help us with the project. Cody (our landscape designer) drew up some plans and we thought they looked amazing. Certainly, we were hopeful when he started the project back in November. Over the last few months, they have TRANSFORMED our backyard into an artistic, colorful and creative design with the outdoor fireplace, shade sail, fountain, flowers, decomposed granite, plants, steps, deck, lighting, and irrigation. From start to finish my experience with Flores Artscape has been incredible and my backyard landscaping remodel project was absolutely beautiful! I was visited by Arturo and Eric who came out to assess the property pretty promptly after my initial inquiry and they did a great job in helpful me reimagine the space and come up with a phased project within my budget that really brought the space to life! I replaced gravel with grass, they replaced my back gate and provided me with a much more secure option that was also aesthetically appealing and it all got completed super quickly. My on site project manager Carlos led the on site work and went above and beyond to ensure sure I received a quality customer service experience every step- he was awesome! And even helped me to identify resources to keep everything up once the project was done. If you are looking for a timely, quality, top flight landscaping or gate project - Flores Artscape is the team to hire. I am IN LOVE with my new backyard :)

I had a couple of meetings with landscaping professionals, and Cody from Flores Artscape was the one I thought understood the scope of work I wanted, and didn't try to convince me to do more than I needed. At the end of the project, there were some inconsistencies with what we'd discussed and what was completed, but when I emailed them, they resolved the issue immediately.

When we moved in to our home, our backyard was not fit to entertain, relax, or for our baby girl to play in. There were loose pebbles, dirt, overgrown bamboo, concrete, an old gazebo and a giant hedge right through the middle of the garden separating the back from the front. We knew we needed professional help to design and do that amount of work. We contacted Flores landscaping, and they were fantastic from beginning to end. Eric came out for a consultation, and he was extremely knowledgeable and had great ideas. He was able to point out what would work and offered solutions for some of our trickier projects. Within a few days, we had drawings and a reasonable bid. Raul who managed the day-to-day was also lovely to work with and the team was overall very professional and efficient. It was a massive project including demolition, installation of a wrap around wooden deck, fence, sod and irrigation, privacy trees and plants. Everyday, I was amazed at how much got done, and the level of detail that went in to each project. I highly recommend this team and will use them again in the future if the need arises.

Flores Landscaping just finished putting in a beautiful shade tolerant lawn. They're very detail focused, skillful and professional. They're really nice people on top of it. They truly are the best.

Flores Landscaping exceeded my expectations during a recent job to remove a crumbling cinderblock wall and to replace it with a rock wall. Their salesman Eric came last October to give me a quote on the work. It was higher than anticipated and we could not bring the number down to make both of us happy. In the intervening months, I had some real jackass salesmen come through trying to sell me anything and everything but what I wanted. So after the New Year, I contacted Eric and asked if the quote was still viable. It was. I had a very certain idea on the kind of rock I wanted. I went to the office to see some sample rocks Eric had sourced. I picked one and gave the down payment. To my astonishment, they told me the work would begin the next day. For the next two weeks, the crew came on time, kept a tidy work site and did remarkable work. This is where the price difference comes into play. When the cinder block wall came down, we thought about using the existing foundation as the basis for the new wall. But it was decided to excavate it and start anew. It added two days to the schedule but it was the right decision. I think a lesser company would have made the original foundation work and jeopardize the wall's stability. Seeing the guys pick and choose the correct rock, sometimes breaking apart a larger one to get a right size and vibrant coloring. Seeing the guys with wire brushes going over dried areas to remove any extra concrete and clean the stones. To give their best presentation. This is why Flores can seem a bit pricey but when you see the work being done, it's not a bunch of bozos slapping togethersomething quickly for a quick buck. After completion, my brother told me that I had chosen the material and artisans well. Watching Antonio, Pedro and the other guys at work, they were definitely more artisans than day laborers. Taking pride in their work has made for an impressive addition to the backyard. And was worth the extra few bucks. I hope to be able to use Rumaldo and his Flores team again in the future.

Freddy was a pleasure to work with as my sales person, and the fence Flores built for me (a rough redwood fence extending the perimeter of a 5,000 sq. foot property on a hill) was exactly I was looking for! Already brought them back to do 3 more projects.

Flores Landscaping recently completed our project which, for the most part, involved removing the front yard plants and lawn, and then installing drought-tolerant plants, gravel, mulch, and a drip irrigation system according to the design our landscape designer, BlueGreen Landscape, provided. We are very pleased with the result, for which the credit goes, of course, to the eyecatching design and aesthetic choices made by Melanie and Jeff of BlueGreen, but also to the care and expertise our job supervisor, Paulino, displayed in executing the design, with the help of the Flores crew. There were some bumps in the road, but Paulino and Rumaldo, the owner of Flores, make sure that all was rectified and that, in the end, we were pleased with the results. Paulino, Melanie and Jeff have all offered to help us out in the future if we have any questions or concerns about the yard, which I think is reassuring and speaks well to their commitment to our project.

We moved into our first new house last year, and Flores has been helping us bring out its old Hollywood charm since that very first summer. They were the only company willing to rise to a very specific challenge: the previous homeowner had planted yards and yards of bamboo. It was an eyesore, and impossible for me to dig out. Flores got my front and backyard completely cleared of this nuisance. They reset the brick in my courtyard, pruned all of my trees, and corrected the grading around the house for runoff. They did this work super fast and at a fair price. Since then, I've brought them back several times since for all sorts of projects. Flores has built a gorgeous custom fence for my backyard, brought my orange tree back to good health, and installed a gorgeous lawn, garden gate, and stone patio. They took care to make sure that my dogs would be safe and secure with the fencing, made excellent suggestions about water wise plants and design, and checked in with us at every milestone to make sure we were happy, and make cost saving and design suggestions. Just an amazing and kind crew. I recommend them highly!
