Warranty-covered roof leak in repair for 5 months. Now worse. Likely water damage. It is fall. It has been raining. Ceiling in master bath damaged, Hallway bath upstairs also affected. Plumber was supposed to be here last week. never showed.

This review is made after the 1 Year warranty service to be fair with the company and I have to say its the worst decision in my life. Simply do not buy a home built by this company. We have had issues with every single piece of this house. By words of some of their own Fisher Homes employees that got so sick and tired of coming to my house to fix issues that the hired subcontractors messed up and I quote; 'The problem with us is that lately we are hiring the cheapest contractors, we pay them very little so they tend to come in and do this crappy work just to get it over with'. This literally came from 2 different employees at different times, the second one didnt say it exactly like that but implied the same, which leads to all the issues we had, now the biggest one began with the salesman who pushed us to a bigger lot that the one we where thinking of. We already had a lot picked out but the he insisted that the lot we had in mind was going to be a hassle due to an easement it had right through the middle which divided the backyard so he advised to get the bigger one next to it which had the same easement but it was flatter hence it would give no issues in the future. After a lot of back and forward it came to one thing, I asked him if they where going to grade it out, seeded and straw it? and he said that they would... thats exactly what they didnt do, I waited until the 1 year warranty manager came, since the project managers kept saying that if someone could it was the manager on the 1 year and nothing, they told me it was an undeveloped area and left me 3 yards of top soil which was actually dirt for me to fix a quarter of an acre. We ended up having to pay a company 5k to fix it. that's after paying 20k for the lot that we where told it was going to be fixed by them. Drywall/insulation: For some weird reason I have 3 A/C returns inside a wall on my garage (The warmest part of the house). Because of this on summer when the A/C was in full this wall leaked due to condensation of the returns after 2 visits and a huge stain of black mole they opened the wall and found out that it was not sealed properly and that the insulation was installed backwards. HOW DID THEY PASS INSPECTION??? Not even the 1 year warranty manager knows!. You could go to the basement, stand below the garage wall and you could see to the garage. We have had issues with Pluming, Electricity, windows, landscaping, gutters, drainage, its simply ridiculous.

JUST STAY AWAY from BRIDAL RUN ,LOUISVLILLE KY@FisherHomes...!!!!! Fisher Homes building VERY CHEAP Homes with VERY POOR QUALITY here. We have purchased a home here and had to EVACUATE on Day2 itself due to improper electrical wiring and voltage fluctuations. The construction manager/Fisherhomes Emergency team are good for nothing and they never respond to your calls. We also struggled to get the closing date for more than 2 months and electrical inspection was on hold forever. Bridal Run sales team lies on everything to sell their homes and put you down on your dream home. They agreed to level my backyard during agreement,now they declined ,no work has done and want to save thier money. Everything will change from the beginning until you signed the contract. Absolutely terrible construction quality. Refuses to stand behind their construction. From a leaking natural gas pipe to improper installation of carpet to not waterproofing a master bath shower, Fischer Homes will blame you. It's not a matter of if you'll have issues but, rather, when.

Our new condo being built by Fischer Homes is 3 months behind schedule at the moment. The slab is covered in 1/4” cracks and elevation changes at the cracks which means possible structural issues or not enough rebar was used and they are unwilling to repair correctly. overall terrible quality throughou. They built the wrong floor plan and didn’t notice until we contacted them. Its a nightmare. Please don’t use this builder.

Beware of Fischer Homes. They subcontract out to the lowest bidder, and the work shows. They don't honor warranties. They peed in my bathtub and ruined it. They sold me a premium lot and told me they would not build behind my home, and now they're building behind my home. They laid dead sod and wouldn't replace it. They didn't build sidewalks to code and now the whole neighborhood will be inconvenienced. Back out while you have the chance!!!

I have a home with Fischer Homes in Georgia. The bigggest issue with Fischer home is the constant turnover of employees and labor. Once you get an establishment with the site foreman he will be gone in six months. Most of these guys seem to be new to the field and are jumping to the best opportunity they can find. I really cannot blame them for leaving after finding out how far they have to travel each day for the sites they manage. I had to rely on becoming a bull dog to get things fixed whille the house was getting built. Now I am five years into my house. For the most part its a good house. The shower design in the master bathroom. is crap. Just had to gut the entire bathroom. They have a shelf that runs the entire back of the shower about a foot and a half off the floor. All it was was concrete board behind the tile. The grout in the seems failed. And there was nothing for the seems in the concrete board between the shelf and the wall. This is the andover design but multiple desighs have this. Do not expect the local foreman to have any power. They are yes mean with no power. Be prepared to go to the top. If you call enough and get up the chain they will deal with stuff. I had many rounds with them with my backyard for the first two years. As for the other houses in my neighboorhood Fischer sources the contracts to different local builders so all the houses will be built a bit different depending on the framer, etc. Considering other builders and their crap I would say that Fischer falls in as average quality for home builders.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend building with this company. The communication during the build process was poor, the finished product was riddled with problems that had to be fixed, and communication continued to be poor when some problems went unaddressed. The good news is, after living in our home for several years, our home is structurally sound and we’ve invested a lot of money after the home was built in order to make our home very nice. We do like the floorplan and the neighbors and neighborhood are wonderful. Some specific complaints: - The turnover of the field manager/superintendent (not sure of the title) was high. We had 3 in about 8 months. We were told they would give us weekly updates about the progress of the build. That did not happen. - Attention to detail was extremely poor. At closing and soon after we noticed: - There was a full thickness, large crack at the bottom of our master shower. We notified the field manager. He came out and looked at it and said he would get it fixed in the next week or 2. We had to ask to have them seal the crack so there wouldn’t be water damage or mold under the shower (they didn’t suggest or offer to do that). - Multiple window screens were installed that were clearly the wrong size leaving a 1-2 inch gap that didn’t cover the window. - Several vent covers were installed that were the wrong size leaving a gap in the floor around the vent - They forgot to vent our microwave out even though we paid extra to have this done. - They left a roughly 8” diameter hole in the ceiling at the bottom of the stairs where I’m guessing they meant to put a light fixture but realized it was the wrong location, so they put the light next to the giant hole and then never patched the hole. - At our 1 year inspection we were offered an opportunity to skip the inspection and get $125 or have some things around the house fixed. There wasn’t much to address at that point other than a missing baseplate on the dishwasher and a few nail pops. I emailed the latest field manager (Andrew Cochran) to see if I could get the missing dishwasher piece at the 1 year inspection and he said this was the “perfect” thing to address at the inspection. At the inspection, the inspector told me that they don’t normally replace parts at the 1 year inspection and he didn’t think it could be replaced this late. I told him that this was the only reason I agreed to do the warranty visit. He supposedly contacted Andrew about this and told me that it would be ordered and requested that I sign off on the 1 year warranty visit. The item was never ordered and never replaced. I emailed Andrew about it several times over the course of a year and never received a response. The last email I sent was about a month ago and I copied multiple people that work at Fischer (Annie Sofranko, Brandon Gazarek, Brian Lemity and J. Fair) and no one responded. I would not build with this builder again.

Brand new home, and it’s falling apart. They are unethical. Unwilling to correct any issues with the house. Although, they are at fault. RUN

BRAND NEW CONSTRUCTION HOME WITH A WET BASEMENT! NO ACCOUNTABILITY FROM FISCHER HOMES! I was excited about purchasing my first home. I looked at existing homes and did not find what I wanted. A few had wet basement issues, which I was trying to avoid. Did not want to invest in a money pit and really needed a dry basement because my mom was moving in and I was planning to turn the basement into a space just for her. So I decided to build. After meeting with Thomas Stine several times, I decided to go with Fischer Homes. I’ve been under contract since January. The house was near completion when 4 weeks ago I stopped by to check on the progress and found standing water in the basement, a few days after a really hard rain. Told the builder about it and sent them the photos of the standing water in the basement. They shrugged it off and stated that they don’t know where the water is coming from. It may be from the furnace condensation line. (See the photos) I have photos and videos from multiple days over the last 4 weeks of standing water and water spots throughout the entire basement. Had a home inspection and there were pools of water on the floor in the basement. There was also white outlined water spots. The inspector said the water near the wall/floor is coming from outside infiltration and that the issue should be evaluated further. Sent my home inspection report to Fischer and they blew it off. They said they ran a water hose in the backyard and did not see any water infiltration in the basement. Fast forward. Wednesday July 8, 2020, I went to conduct a orientation home walk through. I spoke to Greg Selby (construction supervisor) about the wet basement issue. Again, I showed him the photos and asked where the water is coming from. He simply stated that he does not know but he stands by his product (house). He said he was going to run the hose in the backyard for a few hours and see if he can find any problems. July 11, 2020, I went to check on the basement. There are new water spots on the floor and the builder has put blower dryers in the basement to dry the area. The dryers were on full blast. If there is no water issue, what are the dryers for? Obviously after the hose test, there was water infiltrating into the basement, again. There were also new white outline water spots that were not present in the basement on July 8 during the orientation. Fischer has offered no remedy or plan to address the issue. Their approach has to been to pretend the issue is non existent. That is completely unacceptable. This has been a nightmare. This was my first time buying a home and I want nothing more than to just close and move in. But I cannot do that until Fischer adequately addresses the water issues. I really thought I was doing the right thing by building. The worse decision I made was to choose Fischer homes. Based on my opinion their work has been subpar and way below the standards I expect for a new home. Fischer has shown no integrity. They have taken no responsibility for adequately addressing the issues. No accountability what so ever. I am spending almost 300k for a NEW home, and so far that is not what I am getting. I am bewildered at how Fischer can just ignore this serious problem and keep asking me when I’m going to close. I will close when you give me what I am paying for a quality, well built home free from water infiltration. I won’t accept anything less. I highly discourage anyone from using this builder. You work hard for your money. Don’t waste it. Do your research and find another company who actually takes pride in their work product. A home is a big investment. Don’t make that investment with Fischer Homes.

WORST experience of my life! Would not even give them "1 star" if I didn't have to choose it! I had issues before I even closed on my house that I was assured would be completed and I am still waiting for repairs 6 months later. I also have 3 separate water leaks that have been going on since February that have not been fixed and I keep getting told "let's try this and see if that takes care of it". Meanwhile I have a basement with an odor that I can't use while they "wait to see if it fixes the issue". I am concerned what issues I will find once my one year warranty is up if I am having this many issues already! I do not get my calls answered and the communication is terrible. They have gone through 3 maintenance supervisors since I purchased this house because they are overworked with all the problems in this community. I am not the only one with issues, people up and down my street dealing with the same stuff for up to two years now with no resolution! DO NOT BUY A FISCHER HOME!!!!
