First Fence Company

Have used first fence on two jobs. Full fence build and on 1/3 lot as well as for new railings on a deck. Both jobs came in on budget, on time and crews were friendly and cleaned up after themselves. First Fence has done a ton of fences on our community and you can always tell which are theirs...not because of the sign Burba because of how straight and level they are compared to other companies that work in the area. Do yourself a favor and hire the best, not the cheapest.

I have used First Fence for both of my homes in elmhurst. When we built our first home Chris Buenz was amazing! The fence was put in on time and all of his crew were wonderful. I was so happy with our Fence that when we built our second home in elmhurst I used First Fence again. The price was great and the service fantastic. I would highly recommend First Fence as you will not be disappointed.

My problem could be with the inexperience of my salesperson. I hired First Fence in August to install an Endwood privacy fence. Eric Anderson was my saleperson. It is flimsy and poorly installed. The top is unfinished with the holes in the posts and bars exposed. The gate was suppose to be factory built, but it was thrown together with scrap parts on site. I wanted to install my own Yale lock, that I thought would fit, judging from the Enduris website of there custom gates. They installed this cheap lock that doesnt even stay closed if not locked. They left my sidewalk tore up and the fence extremely dirty. The fence pickets are bowing and the hidden post covers are falling off. Eric said they would fix this, but they did not have parts to finish the top. I told him to check with Enduris. If they did a custom design, they should have finish parts. He stopped returning my calls after a few days. As I said, maybe first fence is not that bad. Maybe it was poor direction for the installers from the orders of the salesperson. But an experienced and knowledgeable installer would at least finish the fence and wash it off. Never waste your money with this company. If you do, be present during the entire installation with your contract in hand and don't work with Eric Anderson.
