Marcella Diamond of Diamond Design has been working as a National and International Interior Designer for over 20 years. She received her education from UCLA's Extension for Interiors. She has worked on five of comedian Rita Rudners homes and one home for actor Emma Thompson. Marcella takes pride in the fact that her previous clients ask her to design several homes. In addition to residential spaces, Diamond Design also has done extensive work for commercial spaces.

Marcella and her contractors did a fantastic job of installing garage storage at my place! They installed slatwalls and shelves. She was easy to communicate with and was very receptive to my thoughts and ideas. I really liked the various suggestions she provided. After I made a choice for the design, Marcella was meticulous in gathering measurements to make sure that things would go without a hitch. Setting up an installation time was easy, and contractors were done in a jiffy on the actual date. After the installation, Marcella was thoughtful enough to even provide a paint sample that she felt would go nicely with the installation if I ever decide to paint my garage walls. I would definitely recommend Diamond Design.

Marcella Diamond helped me update the decor in my home. She offered ideas to rearrange furniture, which made my favorite room more functional. She is willing to shop with you at any store of your choosing, as well as a showroom for custom made furniture. The fabrics we selected for reupholstering turned out so well! I am very pleased with her work.

We first met Marcella via the Design Center about 20 years ago. We have a very unique custom home with spaces, lighting and overall design that are a challenge to optimize. Once Marcella spent some time getting the feel of our home and what we were looking to accomplish, she set about having some furniture custom made for the proper scale as well as off the shelf items to pull together a professional and coordinated look. She has an amazing knack to find just the right things for particular applications including artwork. At an arts and crafts fair for example, she would always spot the truly unique art from the mass of ho hum items and know just the right place to put it in our house. She is very talented at carrying a variety of needs in her head throughout the week and when she comes upon the right thing in her travels she just knows in an instant it is perfect! When she was done all three floors of our home looked terrific. She also was able to bridge the different tastes my wife and I have to forge a compromise when needed. In order to help her best help you, give her the general budget you have to work with and she'll do magic within that amount. I can highly recommend this talented lady for any design need you have, you will be amazed at how she can pull together that special look you want from her many resources both locally and nationally.

Marcella did a fabulous job designing our new kitchen and suggesting many other enhancement to our home. Marcella had excellent ideas and suggestions and was key in executing the plans we had made. Our home had a kitchen that was cutting edge in 1971, and we had worked many years trying to maintain, repair and live with it. It has been a joy to join this century by having a modern kitchen, new fixtures and appliances in our home and am only sorry we didn’t do it sorry we didn’t do it sooner. Marcella was easy to work with and had many contacts to do the renovation. I highly recommend Marcella and Diamond Design.

We asked Marcella to design our guest bathroom after she did a beautiful job updating our master bathroom. From working with us previously, she knew exactly what we wanted and continued the Italian-theme in the guest bathroom. We could not be happier with the result...she was inventive in finding a vessel sink and the stand to put it on, she found a product that turned the main wall into a wall of beautiful light-colored bricks and found tile for the shower and floor that pulled all the elements together. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Marcella and highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to remodel their home.

Marcella did a design that exceeded my expectation. I had been struggling with what to do with my bathroom. It had a leak and I had an old metal shower, but the bathroom looked out at the lake so I wanted to take advantage of the view. The result was incredible, the shower looked out at the view and the rearrangement of the plumbing made all the difference. It was an elegant bathroom when it was finished that took advantage of the view, style of the home and very classy!

Marcella has an eye for things and works very well with your budget. She totally accomplished what we hired her for. We like how our living room and entry way looks now. She knows a lot about her job. A word of caution about her charges though. She is not fixed cost and she will charge you hourly for looking and for her ideas even if you do not like her samples. For our dining chair re-upholstery she came up with a mogul like red traditional fabric samples. It did not suit my not-so-traditional taste. She did not push us but she charged me $250 plus as the cost of searching for those fabric samples which is free when you to a fabric shop.

Helped resign the interior layout of my house to better utilize the space and comfort. I was able to get an office and a walk in closet. Was a fantastic person to work with. Helped pick out furniture and when I found what I liked, she pointed out how it was not deep enough for my body size and then found one that was perfect. Helped out with resources and was able to stay within my budget.

Diamond Design transformed our living space. We had a cozy house yet the colors were outdated and things were not working. Friends coming over for gatherings would clump in awkward areas and we needed to get the dark areas a lift. Marcella Diamond worked tirelessly and cheerfully at showing us carpet, furniture, and wall coverings. We went to the design center together. She had resources that we had no clue about. Without hesitation, we recommend Diamond Design.

Marcella Diamond faux finished a kitchen, dining room and 2 bathrooms. Each was a work of art. I wanted the dining room to look romantic and warm, like the inside of a peach. We sliced up several peaches, chose the colors and Marcella worked her magic.
