Barnaby Evans was perfect for my small project. He made me feel like he time for me and any changes I wanted to make. Was happy to meet with me in person to discuss questions or review the job progress. He also acted as an project manager to make sure the job went according to plan, which I very much appreciated. He is respectful of the city's ordinances and makes sure the project is kept to those regulations. I am VERY pleased with the finished project!

Barnaby Evans is the most creative, responsive and pleasant architect I've ever worked with. He really listens to customers' needs and "gets" what we are trying to achieve. He is very familiar with city processes and has been super helpful in getting projects through permitting and ready to construct. I recommend Fatter & Evans wholeheartedly.

We first approached Barnaby Evans to draw up plans to redo our master bedroom/bathroom within the confines of our existing floor plan. His ideas were great, but they didn't quite accomplish what we hoped the house would look like. We then asked him to draw a plan to renovate the entire home, and this plan we loved. We worked with Barnaby for about a year to finalize the plans and get through the permit process. Construction on our home began in April 2013, and it was completed in August 2013. Barnaby was great to work with throughout the process. He listened to what we wanted, and he made complementary suggestions to our requests that worked out really well. He also provided two contractor referrals for the project, one of which ended up being our contractor. Replies to our inquiries were always prompt. Invoices were detailed and timely; we felt the cost was very fair for the service we received.

The work was very satisfactory. I have had multiple projects with this firm. The first was when they were the designing architect for a 47 unit condominium project calle Davis Place at 8701 Escarpment Blvd. in Southwest Austin. The firm did the initial design and then consulting on the construction. They were excellent to work with They were involved in the redesign and upgrade of a single family residence. Very thorough

I have worked with this design team for more than 12 years developing remodel & addition projects ranging for $10,000- $700,000. Needless to say, working with Mervin Fatter & Barnaby Evans of the architectural firm of Fatter & Evans, has been an outstanding experience. Starting with their creative architectural design work, their team is truly committed to providing a beautiful and functional design that meets the wants & needs of our homeowners. They provide extensive support, during both plan development and construction, assisting with both City & County entities during the permitting process etc. Project development is extremely timely and thorough, providing both digital & in print support. My experience is that they are easily accessible, problem solvers and an essential member of the 'Team' needed for the success of your project. Both friends & colleagues, they are professionals with integrity and a commitment to their profession .
