My clients deserve a space that reflects their practical and aesthetic needs while providing comfort and well being. Developing that space requires the professional skill to help clients express these needs and translate them into an optimal design concept. I offer sensible, elegant design solutions while respecting budgets and time schedules. As a former graduate student of Anthropology and teacher in the US and abroad, I honed the ability to understand and respond to clients' different lifestyles, tastes and sensibilities. From knowledge of construction to an educated appreciation of art, I carry out all aspects of the design process, from concept to completion. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: After receiving a Master of Science degree in Interior Design from Pratt Institute, I worked for the renowned architect Eleanor Peterson, a former associate of Frank Lloyd Wright. I designed interiors that reflected the clients' and architect's shared vision, and supervised the contractors executing the design. Since 1997, I have been practicing independently and collaborating with contractors, architects, vendors, and artisans to provide the best service for my clients. I am NCIDQ certified and served on the committee that developed the test questions for the certification exam. As a professional member of ASID since 1999, I served in several capacities, including treasurer of the NJ chapter.
