Etherington Designs specializes in the design-build of residential spaces. We offer general contracting and construction management services as well as in-house cabinetry and furniture fabrication and installation. We believe that the key to success is our ability to work with our clients and for our clients. We build strong relationships and we bring style, value and enhancement to your environment. Our creative team is directed by principal designer Ross Etherington, B.Des. Ross studied Industrial Design at the Ontario College of Art & Design University in Toronto and has been designing and building custom spaces for over ten years. A keen understanding of current trends, a sharp eye for detail, innovative ideas, and a true passion for design are all evident in his work. Dedicated to customer satisfaction, Ross and the team give each project the utmost attention and care. With a 13,000 square foot state-of-the-art workshop complete with a team of skilled cabinetmakers Etherington Designs has the capacity and ability for any scale project. Based on some pictures I had clipped and ideas I had, Ross designed an entrance closet, a new wood burning fireplace and a gorgeous wall to ceiling unit for out dining room. All look amazing and ar highly functional. Everything was to quoted budget and the pictures he was able to draw up, really gave you a realistical feel for how the finished product would look. I wish I could upload the pictures to show you just how great they all look. Would drifinitely hire Ross again, and would highly recommend him and his company.

We hired Etherigton Designs to design and build our kitchen last year. They produced fantastic designs in 2D and 3D that were so helpful to us allowing us to envision the plan and end result. When it came time to dealing with the renovation it really helped to have Ross' designs to show trades. It was also invaluable to have Ross oversee that the plans we're being executed properly. The cabinetry was one of the last items to be installed and the end result exceeded our expectations. We will be hiring Etherington Designs again in the near future to design and build a wall unit for us.

Fantastic job from start to finish on our customized breakfast nook bench with storage beneath. Flowed with our home and created an area that was exactly what we asked for! Very professional and upfront. Customer service was impeccable!

Etherington Designs worked on a custom built dining table and built-in seating design for our small, tricky dining space. We ended up with a very sleek and contemporary design that really made the space look and feel much larger. This company is one of the best and easiest to work with for custom design solutions. I felt like all my ideas were being heard and then improved upon with their unique design ideas and expertise. Quotes and estimates were on target and the end product was exactly what I was looking for. I plan on using Etherington again for more custom design in my new home.

We are extremely pleased with our new built-ins, and with Etherington designs. The entire process was effortless; they produced incredible design suggestions and made adjustments in a timely fashion. The built ins were installed in only a few short days. The installation crew was courteous, efficient and ensured everything was cleaned up when they left. It was seamless. The attention to detail is apparent in the finished product. The built ins look incredible. We are also happy with the high quality finishes. Ross and Chris did a marvellous job with designing and constructing our very unique kitchen. They were able to accommodate unique demands (including integrating a pull-out childrens' desk), and come up with creative, high quality and surprisingly cost effective solutions for storage and functional requirements. The installation was very professional and clean (the site was maintained in a tidy swept and organized manner), when they came back to put on the final touches they left the kitchen as clean as when they arrived. Thank you guys! We really love the kitchen and having you guys around to consult with on decisions from design to construction and functionality.

I worked with Etherington Designs to design and build a custom rolling cabinet to transport and display artifacts for museum programs in different locations in our building. Communication with Etherington Designs was great. Ross listened to our needs and delivered a design that will suit our programs perfectly. We were consulted throughout the process and kept informed of progress. The final product is of beautiful quality and looks exactly as was presented in the initial designs. The cart was delivered on budget and on time.
