I have painted my house several times through the years also did the maintenance. This year, age has told me to have it done. I talked to people, read reviews on the net and did all I felt I needed to do. I called and talked with the owner at S & S Painting and Coatings Inc. We made arrangements for when to meet. On agreement a contract was signed. Very professional, offering suggestions, doing needed repairs (dry rot) and using top grade paint. The employees are professional, fast and interesting to watch. I am more than pleased with the service and quality of the work I requested. And, yes I will use there service again.

I hired Greg's company, S & S, to paint the exterior of an older home in Alameda that had been my mother's. The estimate was very reasonable. Greg was a big help in picking the right color. There were a few challenges in dealing with and older house that needed a lot of prep. They did an excellent job, going above and beyond in the prep work, showed up when they said they would, left everything neat and clean when they were finished. The house looks fantastic. S&S came to the rescue with my condo as we were getting ready to put it on the market. Our realtor walked through and started to build a list of what needed to be done and it quickly went beyond getting a few friends together for a painting party. S&S came in and repaired, patched, prepped, and painted our entire unit. The fixes included large holes in the wall from hanging electronics, areas that needed to be re-trimmed were handled and even some cabinet repairs. . They were able to recommend a lino person who also also did an excellent job and then came back after our carpet was installed to fix any damage done by that crew. The team and leadership were professional and friendly. The next time I need service of a repair and painting company I'm not even going to get competitive quotes, I'm going right back to S&S.
