Norma is excellent: she arrives on time, gets right to work, has excellent taste, etc. What's most important is that she listens to client needs and responds to those, not her own design whims and desires. You just need to clearly say what you want and you'll get exactly what you ask for because she is attentive to what you're hoping to design. We highly recommend her work and will work again with her on any home rennovation projects that come our way. Her drawings are excellent and will guide your team clearly in their construction project, or let Norma and her team do it all for you. You're in the best hands, so don't hesitate. I say this as a cheap and very logic-driven person. Norma is worth every cent because she'll help you think about what you're not thinking about but should have been thinking about!

I hired Norma of Entwine Interiors to design my new kitchen. She had great ideas on re-configuring the layout and opening up the kitchen to the dining room. In addition to the work Norma was great to work with, always returned calls quickly and gave me (free) great ideas for other areas of the house. I'm very happy with the new space and would definitely hire Entwine Interiors for future projects.

Norma re-modeled our downtown condo few years ago. It was our first project and we loved it. Our recent kitchen renovation project and bedroom project in Naperville home was the second time we worked with Norma of Entwine Interiors. We are very happy with our new beautiful kitchen. It is more functional for our family and is exactly what we envisioned. Norma managed the entire process through construction and made the process as painless as possible. We highly recommend Norma.

We hired Norma to help us redesign our finished basement so that it would look more modern. She helped us design a reading nook and art area for our kids, as well as a TV/family room. She also helped us pick out furniture, choose wall colors and new carpet as well. Norma also arranged for the contractor who did great work. It was great having Norma to walk us through the whole project. We love our new basement!

Norma did a great job guiding us through our kitchen Reno action. When we had an issue with the contractor at the vey end of the project, she intervened and resolved the issue.

I worked with Norma photographing a condo she had done. She was easy to work with both before the job — coordinating times, etc., and during the photo shoot. She had props and ideas to make the setting look great, but also lived in. She offered suggestions but left me to do my job. The design was a joy to photograph.

We live in a standard 3 unit townhouse in Lincoln Park. Norma from Entwine was highly recommended from NPN (Northside Parent Network) and is A rated on Angie's list. Norma managed the complete renovation of our 3 bedroom 2 bathroom duplex down including the common hallway. Norma is fantastic! We found Norma to be incredibly easy to work with. She has great connections to contractors that were very reasonably priced and trust worthy. Norma provided great insight and advice from a cost / benefit and style perspective. The only thing we didn’t renovate was the bathrooms which Entwine will be helping us with in 2015. We highly recommend Norma.

Great work but excessively priced and full quotes not provided up front. I live in a standard 3 unit townhouse in Chicago (duplex down, flat, flat). One of our owners used this firm for some interior design work. When the work downstairs was already underway, the opportunity to extend the work (same paint and hardware stain from the interior) to the shared entry way was presented to us as it could be rolled into the larger project. Clearly, I should've required a written quote before agreeing to this work. but I have had positive experiences with my personal contractor in the past and assumed the cost of this work would be reasonable as well. (Lesson learned.) The work in total encompassed painting (including, trim baseboards, ceiling) for a ~150 square foot area, carpet for maybe 12 stairs and staining for maybe 20 square feet of space. The total price for the paint itself was $1450 and the total price of the carpet was over $600. Even after me questioning the price and asking for a materials and labor breakdown, one was not provided. Granted, we should have required the quote in advance but the pricing structure is either 3x the market average (which I have several points of comparison to support) or they really took advantage of the fact that it was coming from a condo association.

Norma and Entwine Interiors worked magic to remodel my very outdated and non-functional master bath. She was fantastic at listening to my needs and wants and was able to create a space that surpassed my expectations. She worked magic in my small space to create a spa-like retreat. Norma is well organized and friendly. She was easy for both myself and my contractor to work with. The project managed to stay within my budget yet it looks like we had twice the budget to work with. I've been able to work with Entwine Interiors on smaller projects with much success and I look forward to using Norma and Entwine Interiors on future projects.
