We had an entire basement to complete and as we were doing it ourselves it felt overwhelming. Melissa made the process so smooth! She planned everything for us, from the framing/electrical plans for city permits to the final touches of wall art. Not having to ask ourselves what colour of paint to pick, what type of flooring or finding the best cabinet and counter companies made it all so much easier. And most importantly, the final results are amazing. We hired her again for a smaller contract to help with staging our living room and master bedroom and she again did a fantastic job. I highly recommend her.

My fifty year home was long overdue for a kitchen makeover. I decided to start with first carefully hiring a Designer, with the intention of coordinating all the scopes of work, and Subcontractors, as well as personally executing as much work as possible. Working together with Melissa, this worked extremely well. With the countless decisions and tasks necessary towards such a project, I could focus on the coordination and construction instead of chasing the choice of materials, fixtures, prices, and required research. The completed design drawings and specifications provided by Elle Cherie were very thorough, got the work off to a great start, and were an important point of reference from start to finish. Melissa is a true professional, very reliable and supportive throughout all phases of work, and 100% accountable towards a Client and the success of a renovation.

Melissa and her team did an amazing job from start to finish. She actually saved me from a huge mistake I had made going with another contractor who totally lacked communication and did not stick budget. She stepped in and saved our Reno! She communicated very well with us, she followed up, she had a very well organized timeline arranged for trades so we knew what was happening and when. We had challenges along the way with Covid but she handled everything in stride. She listened to our wants and needs, she was very conscious of sticking to budget. She came up with absolutely incredible design ideas to give us exactly what we wanted ALL the while keeping us on budget. We could not be happier with the out come and will definitely use her again for other projects. She is worth every penny!

If you’re looking for some great design advice Melissa is your girl! We are upgrading our house and needed some advice on a little bit of everything from floors to light fixtures. Melissa has helped us make some big decisions and is sensitive to the budget we want to keep. She’s very good at her job, has lots of great ideas to freshen up a space and is a delight to talk to about anything. We would highly recommend her.

We recently renovated our master bathroom. Without having any idea of where to start, we were fortunate to come across Melissa at the Calgary Renovation show. We liked that she was friendly and approachable. She offered an invaluable service that provided us with a number of different design layouts of our bathroom along with an extensive list of all the spec items we needed for the reno to pass along to our contractor. She helped us narrow what decisions we needed to make from colour and style of tile, back splash and cabinets to specific faucets and hooks and where to go in terms of suppliers. The layout and spec list also provided direction for the contractors once we were ready to start the renovation. It saved us a lot of time and headaches.
