I hired Keith to paint the walls, install crown molding and wainscoting in my dining room as well as install a backsplash in the kitchen. I really enjoyed working with Keith, he's professional, efficient, diligent and hardworking. I hired Keith to repair some siding around the fireplace and replace some brick molding around the windows. He did a masterful job of putting up the siding and fixing other issues that came up along the way. From past experience dealing other contractors, quality gets compromised. Keith on the other hand does good quality work and takes his time doing it. In addition to the siding work, he also built a space saving vanity for my master bathroom. Originally I had bought two cookie cutter vanities from home depot which were going to create some serious dead space in between the two. After showing my design to Keith, he proposed another vanity design, blowing mine out of the water. He built a good quality vanity at a fraction of the price. Furthermore, he went out of his way to help me out and give advice on maintaining the house. I will be hiring him again for future projects!

My husband and I bought a 1970's ranch style home that had a spacious basement, but it needed some updates to make the "man cave" amenities complete. In particular, we wanted a bar that would be a gathering spot at parties and family gatherings. Keith Elbert came to our home, spent time with us listening to our ideas and goals for the space, and then came up with a design that far exceeded what we dared to dream. Keith had innovative ideas that maximized space and flow (like recessing our full size fridge into a wall, or building in extra storage space behind hidden panels on the front of the bar.) While we thought we were hiring a carpenter, what we got was an artist in Keith. And Keith's artistic eye is second only to his exceedingly high quality standards and attention to detail. I thought I was picky until I met Keith. If Keith does something, it's going to be top notch quality. He doesn't cut corners, and if something doesn't turn out right, he's not going to pass it on to you. Whether it's the quality of the paint/stain, little finishing details, or even smooth sheet rock, he's going to make sure anything he does is top quality. Keith also went the extra mile to help us minimize costs where possible. It was the best of partnerships, in addition to the fact that Keith is just a genuinely good person. Quality does take time, so if you're looking for a quick turnaround, Keith is probably not your guy. But if you want someone who takes pride in his work and will deliver a high-quality work product that is beautiful and functional--something that you'll be proud to have in your home--then give Keith a call. We'll be using him for additional projects in the future!
