The potential invasion of my personal space during a pandemic, coupled with the envisioned daily disruptions from dust and zipper walls was an unnerving prospect that I put off for 2 years. Finally deciding to bite the bullet, I set out to interview seven different contractors, but my decision to go with Elite Contractors stands today as the best choice I could have made. Their professionalism and skill outshone the competition, assuring me that my project was in safe hands. Ken and Ana, the owners of Elite Contractors, are an exceptional pair. The personal attention they devoted to my project and their unwavering commitment to quality work were apparent throughout. Rather than getting into the minutiae, I'll simply state: this company is nothing short of impressive. In retrospect, there’s no need to ever interview multiple contractors again for future home projects. The trust and confidence I have in Elite Contractors will have me going straight to them. The end result of this project is nothing less than love at first sight. The newly remodeled bathroom, once a source of anxiety and inconvenience, is now my favorite part of the house. Elite Contractors did a fabulous job building our new custom ALU addition and “dream porch”. From concept to completion Elite strived to fulfill our vision of the porch while maintaining FFC’s strict requirements for the new ALU/Tiny House rental. Once the permit was approved, work began and continued until the new house and porch were complete. Elite has their own crews, and they are amazing in every way! Ken was on-site each day to address any concerns, and Ana worked tirelessly behind the scenes on permitting and design. Top-most was the concern to create our vision of the porch, and Elite exceeded anything we could have imagined on both the porch and tiny house. Thank you Ken and Ana!

Choosing a contractor was as difficult as it was frustrating in the beginning. Many places were unresponsive, too “busy” or would only take your project if you’d spend “X” dollars. I hated this process and thought it would never end, but that was until I came across Elite Contractors Services on Angi. We met Ken, the GC and owner soon after engaging him, he is a very pleasant man with a wealth of experience and knowledge in the construction industry, and although he loves to have a good laugh he’s also a straight shooter, which I greatly appreciate. To have a General Contractor be as responsive and interested in your project was a breath of fresh air; even better was that he continued this responsiveness throughout the entire project! It was January 2022 at this point and even with supply chain constraints (especially with wood), COVID and inflation craziness Ken as he was somehow ahead of the curve and prepared enough with our project to be able to provide us with a 6 month estimate for everything to complete (July timeframe). I was skeptical to say the least and especially anxious because I had a construction loan with an interest rate lock banking on this man’s estimate. The underpinning/lowering was completed in two months as promised, all done by hand, insane!! The second story began and we were able to meet the entire Elite Contractors Service’s family! The workers Ken employs are all amazing people and excellent professionals who work exceedingly hard and put their heart and souls into their craft. They were also so efficient, they ripped off our old roof, and put up the new roof within a week. and even though they didn’t have to during those few days in between, they placed a huge tarp over our place to protect our home. I felt they treated our home as if it was their own home. During the project I was introduced to Ana Blanco, Ken’s better, half. She was super sweet and made that process of material purchasing such as tile, vanities, fixtures etc. worry-free. When the finishing touches were ready to be made, Ken’s team would ensure every detail was accounted for such as mirror, light heights, or the placement of vanities. They painted and touched up spaces part of renovation, but also spaces that were affected indirectly by construction, and of course corrected any issues you had immediately. Ken called this his “Elite Treatment”, and Elite it was! My wife and I put our faith in Ken wholeheartedly, and we are glad we did, he was able to hit the promised 6 month mark almost perfectly! Ken’s new nickname ought to be the “Magic Man.” We feel blessed to have Ken and his team on the job for home renovation, because not only did we make our home beautiful we were able to make a few friends along the way.

Integrity, professionalism, expertise, and efficiency - just a few of the words that come to mind for our review! Elite Contractors Services, Ken and Ana, just completed another fantastic job on a huge remodeling project for us. A few years ago, Elite remodeled one room in our basement and when we were ready for a much bigger project (kitchen and second story master bedroom additions) we knew exactly whom we wanted to work with. Both a few years back, and during this project, his team went above and beyond anything we could have expected and were dedicated to getting every detail perfect. Another reviewer has written that Ken has assembled a group of artisans and we could not agree more. Many of the workers were the same folks who had worked on our basement a few years ago; the fact that his people stick with the company for many years speaks volumes for Ken and Ana’s integrity. We felt that the whole crew treated us like family. Ken was on site daily to make sure we were completely happy with the progress and understood each of the steps in the process. Ken’s extensive experience was instrumental in transforming our remodeling plan from something great to something phenomenal. In particular, he made suggestions for our kitchen design that dramatically improved the usable space, flow, and functionality. His team works with expert efficiency, and they completed the project in a spectacularly short period of time, even considering the many hurdles imposed by the ongoing pandemic. We couldn’t have asked for anything more professional and courteous from a better group of people. To Ken and his team: Thank you so much! Very few people can say they enjoyed their remodeling experience but we did and it was bitter sweet when you guys finished our project because we feel like we’re saying goodbye to friends. We started our basement remodel wary of contractors, having been burnt a few times in the past. Ken and the Elite Contracting Services team changed our thinking after their first day on the job. The team arrived on time, was respectful, cleaned up after itself, and accomplished an extraordinary amount of work in one day. From that point on, the team arrived and left at about the same time every day, cleaned up the day’s mess, worked hard, and was kind. If my kids stuck their heads downstairs, they were often met with smiles. In addition to how they operated on a day-to-day basis, their work proved to be that of a true pro’s. They did what they said they would do, did a beautiful job, paid attention to details, and—and this is a BIG AND here—they finished more than a week ahead of schedule. In the end, they turned a dated, grungy, and poorly designed recreational space into a place of enjoyment. They opened up the space by removing unnecessary columns and removing drywall around the staircase; they utilized available space by turning a closet into a bar; they pulled out all of the carpet and replaced it with luxury vinyl planks; they installed crown molding; they wrapped the remaining columns and the fireplace in stone; they painted; and in addition to doing all of this throughout the basement, they also turned a large unfinished room into two rooms (a bedroom and a bonus room). The result was a beautiful, functional basement with a recreation room, a new bedroom and a bonus room.

We recommend Elite 100%, and then some! Our experience working with Elite Contractor Services was fantastic. Ken and his team were professional, responsive, efficient, and conducted great work throughout the duration of our home gut-renovation. The crew showed up at 7am each day, and tidied up the work site before leaving in the evening - a full six days a week. The crew were extremely clean and polite! Ken, who owns the company, checked in with us daily via email, phone, or text - and met with us in person once a week to go over progress and address any of our questions at the site. He was personally involved throughout the project and was a pleasure to work with -- an all-around pleasant, friendly, and wonderful person. Not only did Ken provide creative ideas and solutions to meet our needs, but he repeatedly and proactively sought out more economical options for some of the required sub contract work - including our roof shingle replacement, and custom doors, for which he got us multiple quotes to review (and we didn't even have to ask!). He never tried to sell us anything we didn't need, and never charged us more than was required. On the few occasions when there was an issue or change required, all we needed to do was email or call Ken, and it would be addressed the next day. The crew did high quality work from top to bottom - with especially beautiful woodworking skills on our fireplace mantle and staircase. In some areas, Ken and the crew even went above and beyond what we asked for to create beautiful, custom details - and we were incredibly happy with the result. Ken's wife, Ana, who manages the design side of the company, was also a pleasure to work with. She met with us several times to guide us through our kitchen remodel and created highly realistic 3D renderings to help us visualize our new kitchen and make decisions. She too was very responsive with helping us over email and text any time we had a question about an item for purchase or design element. The entire gut renovation of our 4-story town home - including replacing all of the plumbing, electrical, HVAC, floors, kitchen, and 4 bathrooms - took just 3 months TOTAL! We couldn't believe how efficiently the crew worked, while also turning out such good work. We have several friends who have remodeled their homes in recent years and NONE have ever reported a such a positive experience with their GC. Our neighbors, on the other hand, who recommended Elite, had only RAVE reviews. We are so happy with our decision go with Elite and encourage anyone considering hiring them to do so - it was a great experience, and we are extremely happy with our new and improved home.

I have never written a review before but feel compelled to do so on behalf of Elite Contractors. Last year, we decided to renovate our home from top to bottom. We took off the back of our house, lowered the concrete slab and rebuilt all three stories of our house. Elite Contractors made it all possible and our new house is stunning. Elite Contractors are professional, knowledgeable and skilled. Ken and Ana help guide you through the process from the beginning to end. They have a dedicated team of employees that have been with them for years and do very good work. They gave us a construction timeline, and aside from issues outside of their control. they delivered. They worked diligently. Our house, even while in the midst of all of the construction, was always clean and well maintained. Everyone on the Elite Contractors' team takes pride in their work and does really nice, clean work. During construction, inspectors needed to come through and many of them commented on the clean and solid work that was being done. We are simply thrilled with our new home and we have Elite Contractors to thank for that. Thank you Ken and Ana and the whole Elite Contractors team!

Elite Contractors recently updated our basement for us and did an amazing job! Ken came by every day to check on progress and confirm that the work was progressing as we had expected. Ken estimated a maximum of three weeks to complete the job and they were done in a week and a half! The room is stunning and I can’t say enough about Ken’s professionalism, integrity, flexibility, and willingness to work with our needs. He also provided reasonable advice regarding which design choices are worth the price vs. those where we would not see a good return on our investment. It’s clear that Ken prides himself on his work and his reputation and this was evidenced in the attention to detail while the project was ongoing and in the finished product. It’s been a pleasure to work with Elite Contractors and we look forward to working with them again for our future projects, and we wholeheartedly recommend them to others. My son could barely wait for the paint to dry before using the reading nook Ken put in for us.

We really can't say enough good things about Ken and Elite Contractors. We had our basement finished and our master bathroom completely redone and, from the beginning, Ken was very communicative regarding the process and timeline. He also spent a lot of time discussing our ideas and gave us suggestions and guidance throughout, which we found incredibly valuable. Not only did they do a phenomenal job overall, but Ken made sure that any hiccups along the way were dealt with swiftly and cost effectively. We went into this project assuming that no contractor would meet our high expectations and honestly, Ken, his wife Ana and their team have exceed them at every turn.

Ken, Ana and the rest of the Elite team are wonderful! We remodeled our existing home and added a large addition and they did all the work. Ken and Ana are patient, responsive and helpful in suggesting ideas, accommodating your ideas, being truthful about if something will work or not and give good timelines for when to expect things. The crew of workers that came each day were respectful, polite and did a good job. I have already recommended Elite to friends/family and will continue to do so.

We recently remodeled our home with an addition to a 1950s Rambler. Ken had previously remodeled our living room which was seamlessly done with precision and care. We were so impressed with his work that we tagged on the @500 sq ft. addition which was in the back burner for years. It was an easy decision as we finally met a professional (Ken) and his team who took pride in their work and made an effort to be perfect. The ask of Elite Contractors Services Inc. was simple. Design, build and integrate the addition into the existing house with modern open-concept living and at the same time make it appear seamless. Words do not do justice to the efforts of Ken, Ana, the architect and their crew led by Orly. Overseen by Ken from start to finish the project was finished ahead of time and on budget. He stayed on top of all aspects of the project, kept the lines of communication very open, supervised the work regularly without fail and any and all issues were addressed in timely fashion. In construction little details matter and Ken understands that far better than many. In our case pictures will not do justice to the work done. The integration of the roof line for the addition with the skylights and the addition of the covered porch in the front in place of the original stoop appear as if they were part of the original build. We contracted with Elite Contractors Services Inc., to finish our basement. From start to finish, this has been the most enjoyable and rewarding experience. Ken Rahim has gathered a team of professional craftsmen of the highest level. Our project took a little less than five weeks, but what Ken and his crew achieved is amazing. Our beautiful basement is now fully blended with the rest of the house. The detailed installation of crown molding, baseboards, door and window frames is a delight to the eye. Construction of the bathroom was the jewel in this project. This is where the artist/craftsmen out did themselves. Every detail was carefully applied exactly as we requested and so much more. It was such a pleasure working with Ken and becoming friends. I'll miss coffee and laughing with him in my kitchen! This is the contractor that you want. Don't look any further. This is like having the group of craftsmen from, "This Old House", do your project!

I recently got my basement/man cave finished and it turned out ten times better than I anticipated. Ken was very engaging, straight forward, honest, trustworthy, and enjoyable to work with. He is very experienced and did a phenomenal job of listening to my visions for the design of the basement and turning those visions into reality. I just had my master bathroom remodeled and I wanted to give a great recommendation to Elite Contractors Services Inc. Ken Rahim and his crew have done a beautiful job! They are professional, on time, clean up daily when finished, and have gone above and beyond...even fixing little extra things they saw that had nothing to do with my bathroom. But the main thing I like is that Ken is responsive. If I text or email him, he responds immediately! His office/showroom is in Annandale and his wife Ana is the designer/office manger. She is patient and will spend time helping you pick materials and can show you pictures of previous jobs that have used those materials...tiles for example in my case, so you can see how they will look on a finished room.

My husband and I hired Elite to update a 1960s family room. Ken and his entire team were a pleasure to work with and gave me and my husband not only the room we wanted, but far exceeded our expectations. They are skilled and professional and we could not be happier. I would highly recommend Elite and intend to use them again in the near future.

Elite Contractors was hired to convert a closet into a powder room and update my HVAC system. The workers put down plastic to protect my floors and covered all furniture in the work areas. The workers knowledge of their job was above reproach. They were on time each day, showed respect for my home and the work was of the highest quality. I noticed the small attention to details and the quality of the work. Not in my wildest imagination did I think a closet could look this way. I LOVE my beautiful powder room!!!!

Ken and Elite Contractors did a fabulous job on renovating a 2500 sq ft apartment. They Promised 6 weeks, it was done in 6 weeks. They stayed in a very reasonable budget. The quality of the work was excellent. A marble floor was removed, an new tile floor laid, walls moved, baseboard replaced, doors installed, and the entire apartment painted. They managed the constraints of working in an occupied building: the restricted hours, the trash removal, etc. I could not have been more pleased and impressed.
