Incorporated by Glen Gutierrez in 1991, European Landscapes and Design. is a small design/build company serving the Baltimore area. The company specializes in fine stonework, horticultural services, and distinctive gardens. We like to think the spaces we design and create change the lives of the people we work for. Our installations help bring people out doors and change how and where they spend their time. That is a success for us. We are committed to the perseverance of excellence in true old world fashion. Horticultural Services. Although we work primarily with indigenous perennials, trees, shrubs and aquatic plants, we have extensive knowledge of other types of plant material. Distinctive Gardens. Glen’s work reflects his apprenticeship with a German Master Landscape Designer. His craftsmanship and attention to detail are thoroughly European while his design philosophy seeks to integrate structures with their natural surroundings. His extensive knowledge and experience in horticulture and natural stone work enables him to produce distinctive gardens. The firm’s design and build capabilities allow it to shepherd a project from concept development through final installation. The synthesis of style, knowledge, and experience gives our gardens a sense of permanence and distinction. Our clients regard the gardens we create for them as extensions of home and self.
