We worked with Eiko to decorate our new-build home and we are very pleased with the results. She worked to understand our tastes and gently guided us to do some things we would have never done on our own and the results are spectacular. Our friends think our home is gorgeous and so do we. We went with a contemporary look and it came out very nice while being very comfortable. A place we love to come home to.

Eiko has a lovely presence. She is serene, confident, and kind. We first hired Eiko about seven years ago to help choose paint colors for our new home. She helped us to boost the energy of the house, and her sense of color and the purpose it can give to a room was superb. This year, when we were ready to remodel our home, Eiko was the first person I called. She was with me every step of the way as we underwent a major remodel project. She helped me to choose materials, colors and art for our new space. She was very open through the whole process to my ideas, and in the end I feel that the outcome of our project was collaborative and fun. There were several times, where her design ideas did not meet with the function we needed in our home with small children. In each instance, Eiko was able to find the perfect solution to maintain the integrity of the design and provide for the functional needs of our family. Her unique mix of talents has blended Feng Shui and design knowledge to produce the perfect space for us to live in. I highly recommend Eiko with no reservations. She is an amazing decorator, a knowledgable Feng Shui practitioner, and an honest person.

When I have a design job to do I call Eiko. I am confident she knows what to do and where to get it at a reasonable price. In my home Eiko has done three jobs. She redecorated my family room and did a complete renovation of an old, dated bathroom. In addition, she helped me convert a closet to additional kitchen space with a lovely counter. I am very pleased with all the work she has done and recommend her without reservation.

She is a fantastic Designer with an incredible eye for just the right products that work for her clients. She definitely takes great care in introducing her ideas and vision into every project but also is a great listener and very attentive to each individual clients specific & special ideas and needs. When people come into my home for the first time, more often than not they comment on how relaxing and attractive it is. About a decade ago, I had a feng shui and design consultation with Eiko, resulting in a transformation of my home and my experience within it. With her help, it now expresses what I value and love about the world and life. Those of us who know her know that Eiko is beautiful inside and out and whatever project she takes on is a reflection of this beauty. The project that Eiko is currently helping me with is a bathroom remodel. Through questioning and clarifying Eiko has helped me to identify what I would like and how to create it while staying within my budget. From the smallest details to the big picture she uses her imagination, creativity and highly honed practical skills. Problem solving is one of her fortés. With her support the project has gone from intimidating to FUN and exciting. Demolition starts on Tuesday. Stay tuned!!!

I cannot adequately describe Eiko's talent, care, and dedication. I've been a loyal and steadfast customer for nearly four years. I purchased my current home in Boulder four years ago with the intention of someday moving there. I knew I'd made the right choice in hiring Eiko when, after listening to me for a bit, she said, "I see. You want it to be a sanctuary." Yes! That's right, I said. And that's what she did. From managing complex renovations, emergency constructions, to decorating and turning the house into that sanctuary, every step has been done with care and grace. I continue to rely on Eiko not only because of her professionalism and dedication but because she knows exactly where everything needs to go and how it should be done. We hired Eiko after considering two other interior designers to renovate our master bathroom with a deep Japanese bathtub. We identified a particular bathtub to install and asked her to design the bathroom accordingly. She guided us to a few tile shops to pick our choice after giving us her recommendation and to a hardware showroom for bathroom fixtures. She listened to our choices and integrated them into a better and more beautiful design, which we love. Because we have very specific design ideas, her approach to working with us in tandem was perfect for us. Her guidance of our view of this bathroom project led to the design we wanted but were not able to articulate by ourselves. She informed us of the total cost at the end of her design (though it was about 20% higher than we had initially asked, we agreed to this increased cost before the construction, and there was no further increase of the cost). The contractor she chose was also very competent and east to work with. The whole process from design to the requisition of materials and the actual construction was very smooth and professional.
