Ed Wallace and his Midwest Landscaping did a phenomenal job on our front and back yard design and build out. Ed's design was unique, added a good bit of character to our house, and was very practical for dealing with the leaves and berries that fall from our trees annually. When we first started, Ed heard our thoughts on what we wanted to do and made a design that was beautiful beyond our imagination. Ed made sure to add features that were required by our city's Lawn to Garden program to make sure we received our rebate at the end of the project (which we did). Ed takes pride in his work, and he mixes his professionalism with his incredibly friendly nature. Throughout the project, Ed made a point to teach me how to troubleshoot later on, and he made a friend out of our 5 year old daughter (who Ed tried to convince that our dry stream bed feature would have fish in it when it rained). Ed continues to check in with us several months after project completion to make sure his plant "kids" are doing well, even replacing any that need replacing. We are very happy with Ed's work, and I highly recommend him.

ED WALLACE Midwest Landscaping 2234 No. Bellflower Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90815 Ed Wallace has conducted many landscape jobs for Rob Moore, so is quite familiar in executing Rob's native plant/low water use landscapes. Ed works primarily alone, only using other when handling some of the basic tasks, like spreading decomposed granite across the property or moving boulders weighing several hundred pounds. Therefore, the speed at which Ed completed his part of the job was obviously not as fast as the hardscaper, whose work was completed in less than three weeks. Ed's attention to detail and the care with which he worked around existing hardscapes, was outstanding. He installed a state-of-the-art watering system and attractive landscape lighting in both front and back yards. He guaranteed our plants for 90-days after planting and came by often, or as needed, to tweak the watering and check on plant health. We are very pleased with the job he has done for us. I have worked with Ed at Midwest Landscaping over the past many years on various projects which I have designed and he has installed. He is very thorough and detail oriented in every aspect of the installation process. His bids are accurately priced and he works on one project at a time, thus allowing him to give special attention to every client. I would totally refer him to future clients.
