We are a general contractor (AAA Development, Inc.) that performed the work on a nice Spanish Colonial remodel project. After being hired for the project by the owner, we worked closely with Ecologic Life. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to receive a set of plans and designs that are not only to scale but are well thought out and easy to execute. We deal with many designers and most do not go to the level of detail and service that Ecologic Life do. I highly recommend them for your project and would say that if you are looking for someone that can handle the many issues that arise during a construction project, they are the ones.

Cynthia was the answer to a prayer when I first moved to the Ojai area to begin work on a mid-century home. I have always been interested in eco friendly building materials and design products but wasn't always sure where to find them. Cynthia has a vast knowledge of materials available and an inspiring design sense.

Cynthia Grier is a master at creating healthy, eco-friendly, sustainable homes. She is a pleasure to work with...clear, calm, articulate, prompt, keeps on budget and very organized. Always willing to go the extra mile, she listened carefully to my needs and found just the right material for my kitchen countertop. She also offered healthy options for the insulation, plaster and paint for our whole house renovation. I highly recommend her skills.

I have known Cynthia for several years now. She is delightful to work with and is passionate about providing information to people about how to create a non-toxic home or office environment, while minimizing the carbon footprint. I have been to several of her workshops and always learn from them. She has 20+ years in the field of Interior Design. Cynthia has been amazing to work with! We bought an older house and wanted to update everything using a green model and eco-friendly materials. We could spend hours researching materials and sources but thankfully due to Cynthia's store, we don't have to. She has already done the research and is very knowledgeable about industry trends and materials. I am so thankful that she is so patient with my questions and the process of our painfully slow remodel on our house as we keep encountering new ideas. She has been very resourceful by looking into new materials, finding where I can get a product if she doesn't carry it, and offering incredibly helpful workshops locally. I love that she has so many samples that I can put my hands on to help inform my decisions. For example, we put in a cork floor and it was her samples and knowledge of the product that helped make that decision. I have went into some other business in Ventura for materials and have been disappointed with the service. This is not just a business for her, she has a personal interest in the materials, and her passion shines through. We have a lot more remodeling to do over the next 5+ years and I look forward to working exclusively with her.

Cynthia Grier, owner of EcoLogic Life, was an invaluable resource for me as I began the overwhelming project of building an ECO-green home. Cynthia has helped us with various eco-friendly building materials while remodeling our home. We purchased a beautiful stranded bamboo floor, a new countertop, tiles made with 40% recycled material, and even decking made from bamboo. With each purchase we shopped around comparing value and quality from other dealers, every time Cynthia's prices and materials came out on top. We have met with Cynthia at the resource center, and she was able to come to our home on a few occasions bringing various options for us to consider. EcoLogic Life is a one stop shop for our building material needs with a huge selection of reasonably priced options.

Cynthia at EcoLogic Life Style design helped us pick out our beautiful cork floor. We feel great knowing that it's sustainable and free of harmful chemicals especially since we just had a baby who will soon be crawling on it! She was always knowledgeable and informative with all of our questions about everything, and we had lots of questions about everything she had I'm her showroom! She also hooked us up with a great installer. We're very happy with our floor!

Cynthia, at EcoLogic Life, is a “green products,” sustainability knowledgeable, and a simply delightful person to work with! Her design aesthetics are Zen gorgeous! Recently she gave a workshop, “Recipe for a Green & Gorgeous Kitchen - Inside & Out,” and not only was her information spot on, but as I watched the attendees, they were simply thrilled to be participating.
