Eco-Chic Home Designs has a terrific concept, complete home plans with all finishes specified that allowed us to take months off the design phase of our new home. Michael and Lani were a dream to work with, walking us through all the necessary steps to begin construction. They are very professional but at the same time warm and caring, working with us to make our dream of a home on Kauai a reality. Our house is a few months away from completion and we can’t wait to enjoy our beautiful island home!

My wife and I purchased a beautiful property on the North Shore of Kauai and plan to retire there in a few years. We were referred to Michael and Lani of Tropical Architecture Group, Inc. (TAG) by our realtor. He explained that TAG had a division that offered existing luxury tropical designs called “Eco-Chic Home Designs”. We checked out the Eco-Chic website and met with Michael and Lani. Our original plan was to build something very basic, not the beautiful designs that we found on the Eco-Chic Collection. Needless to say, we were impressed that they were already complete and reasonably priced. We also realized that the design of the home was going to increase the value of our property, if and when we decided to sell, so it was a wise investment. Michael and Lani were easy to work with and accommodating. They got our plans through Kauai county for building permits and gave recommendations on site people to help as well as builders. Overall the process was quite simple and was all done with us living in California. We are currently under construction and would highly recommend working with Michael and Lani of Eco-Chic Home Designs or with Tropical Architecture Group, Inc., if you’d prefer a custom home.
