I am writing this in hopes of saving someone else money and time dealing with this “company”. ....All was well initially. Easton was nice, dependable and even though there isn’t any reviews or much work shown, I trusted him and wanted to support. That was until I gave the first payment. ...He came and took photos of my property and gave me deadlines for the completion of the design. He quoted me $2 per sqft for design AND architectural blueprints for a detached garage that I want upfitted to an ADU. Originally I was going to have him design the kitchen inside my home as well but decided that I didn't need him to do that (after I had already paid him almost $1000 for the first payment)...He made a few promises and bunch of excuses for weeks/ months. His communication was so bad. He went days before responding to emails and almost never answered the phone or text messages. Months went by& lots of excuses were given but I finally received a design for the garage. It was nice. However, he then started asking for more money in order to get the architectural plans (what I really need to get the job done). He had already broken my trust by then and also the math wasn’t adding up. My garage is 400 sqft ,the contract said $2 per sqft. Which would be around $800 (very low, i understand that) I had already paid close to $1000 (based off what I was originally going to get) . So technically I had overpaid. I wasn’t asking for my money back. I was just asking him to complete the job that I paid for and he agreed to. Throughout the months of me working with him, I asked him multiple times to update the contract to reflect my new requests and he NEVER did.... so here I am feeling scammed, with $1000 less and nothing to show for it but a design of a garage apartment that I can’t even use. Do not work with Easton or any other companies that he creates UNLESS you want to deal with terrible communication and scam- like behaviors.
