The owner, Marcia Bernhardt, is a true professional. She provides wonderful customer service and has extensive knowledge of Chinese antiques. Eastern Treasures has unique furniture pieces and accessories which can compliment any home. Every visit you will find something new which I love. Great selection of Asian furnishings and accessories. The owner travels to China at least once a year to find unique antiques and reproductions as well as new accessories. I have purchased many items, from furniture to ceramics to jewelry, at this business and have been very satisfied with the authenticity and the quality of the items. Many pieces are from the country and are rustic in style, but there are also pieces from Tibet, baskets, ceramics, and lifestyle accessories. Design advice is available from the owner and staff. Marcia Bernhardt, the owner, is very knowledgeable about Chinese furnishings. I love that the business is housed in a historic downtown building, as well. I have an ongoing relationship with the business as I continue to add pieces to my home.

Each piece is identified by the province from which it originated and some idea of how the item was used. Prices are extremely affordable considering the age and quailty of these "treasured "items.

She has wonderful ideas, creative ways to implement the beautiful Oriental furniture into any setting. Not only does she work with the large pieces of furniture, but also with the wonderful, unusual accessories for the home to complete any decor. She is extremely knowledgeable about the pieces she chooses from China and is able to recommend the best fit for each individual home.

Eastern Treasures is a jewel in the City of Wichita Falls, TX. It has a owner/buyer who is extremely knowledgeable of the ancient Chinese artifacts that she sells (an a very competitive price). Most of her merchandise would sell for double in the larger cities. All in all, if you are interested in Asian artifacts, it is worth the drive from the larger cities.
