Dwelling

Dwelling was the perfect match for us! Leigh was knowledgeable, attentive and patient with us. She was adept at answering our questions and in providing guidance that fit our style and budget. Most of all, Leigh was always so positive and accommodating. I have no reservations recommending Dwelling!

We met Leigh at the Charleston Home + Design show. She was giving free consutlations. We loved her warm personality and her ideas for our kitchen. We are in the beginning stages of a much needed kitchen reno - and her ideas really inspired us. We have contacted Leigh to come and see our kitchen and give us a complete design. We are hoping to start this project within the next month. We found Leigh to be very knowledgable and professional.

My husband and I recently decided to update the décor in our home. We asked Leigh McAlpin at DWELLING to consult with us on this project. Leigh is a great listener as to what we wanted to accomplish and incorporated her fabulous ideas to introduce new materials and ideas with our existing décor. This included changes in our window treatment, arrangement and additional furniture placement, introduction of fine floor rugs to accentuate the unique qualities in several of our rooms, paint schemes to use with our existing wall color and ideas on how to arrange and display some cherished family pictures and heirlooms. She provided us a reference document that included specific items and examples of the changes that we can incorporate in our home. Leigh is available now that she has visited our home to provide us support and advice as we move forward with this project. It was a pleasure to work with Leigh to identify solutions and ideas that will work for us.

Leigh McCalpin at Dwelling provided us with great comfort, knowing that her designer skills would take our dated 1960's kitchen into the present with her impeccable taste. She took full control of our Kitchen renovation from start to finish and down to the last little details. Her communication skills were flawless. She listened on what our needs were, and truly gave us that DREAM KITCHEN that we were so looking for. Thank you !

Leigh provided really sound solutions. she was very considerate of my budget. has a great color eye,and was able by getting to know me and my home and taste -- then deliver exactly what i wanted in the project. there are specifics in any design project that only a professional can alert you to, but if you missed it in the design stage you'd be kicking yourself. example: in installing marble counter tops the value to avoiding a seam. the appropriate amount of lighting, a myriad of details that you wouldn't realize were necessary until you missed them.
