Suburban Dream Homes

Very poor communication, and does not stand by work. Days, even weeks sometimes, would go by without communication from Ryan about our project. A window was delayed 6 weeks because of an error in ordering, but we were given little if any information about when the new window would arrive. Small things like trim work or window repair would be a huge inconvenience for him - once telling us that Saint Paul was too far away and when they were in the area they could finish the job. We've had two separate window problems arise since they've installed them - one glass cracked, and the other, part of the locking mechanism broke. Not a huge issue as these would be covered under warranty, but we notified Ryan of these over 6 months ago and NOTHING has been fixed. We were also told early spring that all the window caulking would be redone because it was the wrong color. Still waiting... Poor communication and blatant disregard for his clients is just plain disrespectful and honestly unprofessional. At this point, if our issues aren't fixed in a timely manner, we will be asking for money back to fix the issues with another contractor. I definitely would not recommend SDH.

We got to get a close up look at how SDH works and we are impressed. The remodels that they do are beautiful, and their craftsmanship is awesome. All communication we had with them was really pleasant and we enjoyed the work we did. Thanks guys!

Ryan is exceptionally creative and has the vision, skill and willingness to build elements into a home that are challenging (real WOW factors). On several occasions Ryan has helped us find design solutions that we love and would not have imagined without him. He has great relationships with designers and a collaborative "can do" style that makes him perfect for clients and designers who want to do special things in their space. His team of subcontractors is second to none. He is detail oriented, careful with the budgets, spot on with estimates and honest. He has our trust and our future business.

The professionals at Suburban Dream Homes (SDH) created a beautiful build-out of our condo at the Westin Edina residences. The finished product exceeded our expectations! SDH listened to my ideas and made them even better...I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome and recommend them highly!
