Downeast Woodworks

Co-founders Kris Jennings and Sean Dunfey go back a long way. Together as young kids they built tree houses and other creations of their imagination. In the early 90’s they once again got together and created Downeast Woodworks with the simple belief that cabinetry must be easily accessible, custom to the specific use, and remarkably affordable. By working closely with each customer we ensured that every cabinet that leaves our shop matches exactly what the customer desires. All Downeast Woodwork’s products are built in our shop on Route 1, Freeport Maine. From designing the cabinet, to the first cut, to the final coat of finish, we do it all and deliver it personally for the final installation. Because of this there is no middle man ensuring a low cost and high quality.
