My home was a custom build from Dehaan. It was built in 2009. So far we have replaced our roof, basement water proofing, framing on main floor and upstairs. While laying the flooring he had contractors putting up drywall. I overheard them ask how far apart they should drill each screw. They were off by 6 inches. When that was brought to their attention they said " just do it right from now on the home owners will never know. All of our drywall has since cracked at most joints. When brought to their attention arie said we had to call before entering the home from now on. I would never build another home with dehaan. Just a word of warning so hopefully others dont have the same expenses on a new build that we've had

DeHaan Homes did an absolutely outstanding job building our home. From the creative process, to construction, to finishing details, everything was done with the upmost quality and precision. Douglas DeHaan was fantastic to work with and his creativity and attention to detail is phenomenal. Thank you for building our dream home!

The entire design and building process with DeHaan Homes was a wonderful experience. The attention to detail and quality of the craftsmanship for our home far exceeded our expectations. We absolutely love our home and would recommend them to anyone!

Can't say enough good about Douglas DeHaan. Never had so much joy stem from building a house. The process was smooth and fun and the house is spectacular - beyond my wildest dreams. His design touches and ideas were the over the top. Loved them all and ended up calling my house - Miteaswell. He's a perfectionist and his subs were terrific.

Superb! Wonderful ability to capture our idea and never lose site of it as a goal. Fabulous design/build skills transferring concepts to paper to reality. Highest quality sub contractors throughout the process. Very respectful of budget and highly organized in the financial end of the project. Delightful to work with from all areas.

This contractor made our process fun and exciting. They are Incredibly creative and keep a very positive attitude even in the face of obstacles.
