From a large house on Elgin Crescent to massive internal restructuring of a duplex apartment in Westbourne Grove and smaller extensions to houses in Chelsea and Fulham, we respect equally the creative potential and the practical constraints of each project. It is their ongoing success in working on refurbishment projects, however, that has brought them most plaudits and in particular, their intervention on a Grade II listed property in Islington, which rewarded them with the highly Prestigious Renzo Piano Foundation award last year for best project by a young Architectural practice Our work is also unique thanks to the strength of the relationships we have built up with worldwide specialists, giving our clients an excellent range of top-flight structural engineers, costing consultants, lighting and landscape designers to ensure timely, cost-effective work where no detail is too small. We believe in active collaboration and committed communication at every stage of a project to ensure our client's satisfaction. DOS architects directors, Lorenzo Grifantini and Tavis Wright, both worked at some of the world's most prestigious firms before starting their own practise, including Foster and Partners, Atelier Philippe Starck, Zaha Hadid Architects and Ron Arad Associates. Since 2004 DOS architects has grown exponentially, and has completed private and commercial projects from London and Rome to Moscow, the Far East and Africa. We devote to every project, however great or small, a passionate creative energy which sets us firmly at the forefront of our industry.
