Known for her ability to transform concepts and site-specific challenges into beautifully functional and inviting interiors, Dorothy Willetts is sought out for her talent and diligent attention to detail. As a life-long learner and traveler her work spans a variety of aesthetics. By blending the beautiful with the practical, she combines fine design with craftsmanship creating authentic, immersive and harmonious spaces that extract the essence of her clients’ desires into a unique and highly personalized space. Originally from Philadelphia, Dorothy combines an East Coast upbringing with her education and life experience in Chicago, infused with a California sensibility. Dorothy’s credentials include a BA in Fine Art and a BFA in Interior Architecture from the prestigious The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, after which she worked with some of Chicago’s finest, including AD Top 100 designer, Bruce Gregga. A well-regarded industry expert and active member of the LA Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers, her design aesthetic is highlighted in her projects throughout the Coachella Valley, and other destinations including Chicago, Aspen, Seattle, and beyond.

Dorothy is a rare talent as a designer. One of a handful that aren't scared to take challenges in design. To see a regular product and it's potential beyond, isn't easy. Recently we sold some pots that were tribal and it was Dorothy who had the vision to transform them into a contemporary vibe. It was her intelligence and determination throughout this complicated custom process that led to a incredible end result!

It was a pleasure working with Willetts Design Associates when they sourced our earth ware pottery, accessories and artwork for the Zanzibar project. Dorothy and her staff were always very professional, courteous, thorough and responsive. Clearly Willett’s Design knows how to manage a complex design project. Dorothy is a master at sourcing unique product to create stunning interiors that embody her client’s lifestyle and vision. I'm very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Willetts Design & Associates. Dorothy Willetts, a consummate professional, is a joy to work with. She is decisive, respectful and accessible. She makes her needs, wants and intentions very clear thus avoiding any misunderstandings down the line. Everyone I have dealt with at her firm seem to follow her lead making the whole process pleasurable. Dorothy is on my list of designers whose clients should consider themselves very lucky.

Dorothy is simply the best Dorothy's design sensibility coupled with operation efficiency make her unique to handle these large scale premium projects and she's a pleasure to work with . This installation was one of our proudest to have been included in and we look forward to many more with Dorothy and her team .

Always a pleasure to work with Dorothy and the staff at Willetts Design and Associates. If your looking for a interior design team who will give you the personal attention you need and deserve, this is the TEAM to go with. From concept to finished project, Dorothy and her associates will listen to what you want and not push their own agenda. Their knowledge of the construction process and their ability to see the big picture makes them easy to work with from a contractors point of view. Their professional attitude and availability either by phone or email makes getting critical questions answered fast to keep the project going.

I have had a long standing relationship with Willetts Design & Associates. They did an exceptional job in designing my home. The quality of their work has lasted for years. I'm now in the process of updating my home. WDA had all of my prior records that enabled them to coordinate new trends to existing items. Hiring a professional designer and having your home designed are good times in a person's life. It should be fun / stress free. WDA has provided a great business atmosphere to enjoy the process without any worries.

We worked with Willets Design and Associates on a complete exterior remodel of a home in La Quinta California. They were instrumental in the design process, material selection process as well as the overall supervision of the entire project. They were very professional and easy to deal with as well as available whenever we needed their services. I would highly recommend Willets Design and specifically Dorothy Willets in the future. コメント：What flooring was used?Hi Kelly, The floor consists of 8" x 32" & 8" x 48" tiles. The info is: Woodland Gray Porcelain by Eleganza. Hope that helps!

コメント：KitchenThis was a custom stone we had installed. But to get this look, ask for a "split face" travertine. The split-face refers to the texture of stone.

コメント：window screensThe top three windows have wrought iron screens in them and the other two windows have wood screens made in a Moroccan motif. They were all custom made specifically for the project.
