Done up North

Done up North re-imagines old and tired and unlovable vintage furniture with creative and striking geometric designs for lovers of daring interiors. Each piece features a design as unique as it is - we love to create exciting, modern designs but also celebrate the beauty in the original too. All of our designs are hand-created with tape on the piece itself and hand painted with highly pigmented colour and sparkling metallic paints and protected with incredibly smooth and durable finishes. We use only environmentally friendly and non-toxic products wherever possible to make our creations and our processes as sustainable as possible. Our range includes reclaimed wood wall hangings, side tables, chest of drawers, sideboards and upcycled drinks cabinets. Done up North style furniture is recognisable for its striking and unique hand-cut geometric designs often combined stunningly stripped and refinished wood. A signature style is the re-working of old linen cabinets into drinks cabinets, re-fitted with glass shelves, mirrors and lighting. Over the years Done up North designs have gone on to influence many other Furniture Refinishers' work and become a recognisable style of geometric design.
