My Husband and I purchased a home in Sarasota National (Venice, FL) and Doreen was recommended to us by our Salesman. Decorating a brand new home from scratch can be very overwhelming, especially when you are from out of state. Doreen was able to make the transition so easy and helped us create a beautiful home! Not only did she work with me on window treatments and lighting options, but had everything installed within two days of our closing date. Doreen even took us shopping to purchase a majority of our furniture, to make sure the entire vision came to life. She has a great eye for detail, and color coordination. In addition to her strong business contacts and recommendations in the area, there wasn't a problem that Doreen couldn't help me with! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to create your dream home!

The "BEST" decorator ever - you can stop reading now. My husband and I moved to Venice 18 mo. ago. Like most retirees we sold our home and most of our furniture. I thought I had a decorator, he dropped off 30+ books of fabric and told me to pick - I was lost. Then went to Baer's furniture and found decorators who became uninterested. I picked a fabric and style and have lived with it for a year. Now I have decided to continue decorating and "Hate" my original choice. I found Doreen and she comes with me everywhere. Her style is current and fashionable. I am now taking down my drapes and losing thousands of dollars but can not live with what I hate. I sing a song to Doreen "Where were you when I needed you?"

We are in the process of decorating a 2200 Square Foot house from scratch. Doreen has been helping us with furniture, lighting and interior decorations. Doreen has great sense of color and space and is very good with helping you find the right stores. She also finds pieces that you may like at lower prices saving you money while getting a professional, coordinated design. Highly recommend.

I photographed Doreen for her Business Portrait several months ago. And then recently we photographed window treatments and various items that are part of the design. It is clear to see that Doreen has a talent for design. She has the knowledge and experience to put colors, fabrics and items together to make it blend, but also create a statement. Doreen is working on updating our entire home in phases. She looked at our former home decorating style to get our style preference. She started phase 1 which is updating a bedroom into an office and transforming the guest room (removing everything and starting from a blank slate). She took our initial choices and guided us to better color choices that were more appropriate to the size of the rooms. She took me to a flooring company to pick out flooring after seeing the built in designs with the new color choices. She listened to our wants/needs and was helpful in getting us the best looks and prices for our selections.. We look forward to working with her for phase 2 of our entire house renovation.

Doreen is extremely knowledgeable, budget conscious, creative and pays strict attention to client requirements and deadlines. I would recommend her to anyone.

Doreen was great to work with. She has wonderful ideas and brought the spaces to life. She researched companies and was able to get cheaper online prices from some of the vendors in person. She oversaw deliveries when we couldn't be there. We're very happy with Doeeen and highly recommend her.
