Love Melissa! She made the new build process less stressful and our end-product is amazing to us. She guided us through the numerous selections and worked with the builder, contractors and subcontractors with professionalism and a special firmness when things weren't quite right. Her depth of knowledge enabled her to spot several items that needed addressing that we (with our awe of the process) did not immediately see. Melissa also was able to look through the hundreds of photos we saved and was able to provide us with selections to choose that definitely matched our style. She truly is an amazing person - friendly, professional, efficient yet thorough, and able to manage problems with a firm and strong countenance. She is amazing and always composed! We will contact her again when we recover from the new build. We have additional items to add and value her knowledge and style.

Melissa Campbell of Discerning Designs is amazing!! She has great vision and style and is also an excellent business professional. Melissa acted on our behalf interacting with our builder, various contractors and subcontractors throughout the build of our new home and pool on Lake Conroe. Melissa selected gorgeous materials for all the countertops, backsplashes, flooring, paint, lighting, etc. She provided us with beautiful photo layouts of options and because she was so attentive, we loved everything she put together. Melissa designed two custom kitchens for us and provided all the drawings to the cabinet maker and stone company for fabrication. Melissa worked with the pool builder to design a beautiful pool and gorgeous limestone hard scape tying the front and back yards together beautifully. Melissa was a lifesaver for us interacting with the various trades since we were out of state for the entire build. The home came out more beautifully than we could have imagined. Hiring Melissa was the best choice we made!! She is so talented and to top it off she is a lovely person. We highly recommend Melissa to anyone looking to design, build, remodel, or decorate their home or business.

Melissa is easy to work with. She helped us with furniture selection, window coverings, rugs and shopped and installed decorative items for our living room and upper glass kitchen cabinets. We didn't have to return anything. She is very professional and we never had to wait on an appointment. Melissa will be helping us with our second home in the near future. Melissa Campbell is not only a very talented designer but is also a very special person. We have utilized her services on several occasions and are always impressed with her knowledge and integrity. She knows how to identify the client's' style to end up with a beautiful design. She has great sources to provide just the right look and is also able to repurpose existing pieces to accomplish the desired look. We would gladly call on Melissa again if there is a need.

We worked with Melissa as part of a changer-upper project at our new home which included new flooring and paint throughout the home and substantial work in the master bathroom. We let her know the style/feel we were looking for and when she brought us samples of flooring and shower tile at our next meeting she had so heard us and most of our flooring and shower tile selections were made. She worked extensively on paint colors for our home (as lighting/conditions in our home washed out/changed the look of the colors) until we had the warm cozy feel we were going for. Construction is currently underway. When issues came up regarding the paint, Melissa was very proactive in stepping forward and bringing resolution. She was always timely and on time and communicated well via email. She always made herself available without being at all insistent or pushy. She respectfully and cautiously used terms that conveyed outdatedness especially when asked without ever being insulting. Melissa was so very knowledgeable, professional, and ever so delightful to work with!
