Excellent ceramics company, I've used them for both commercial and residential work and been pleasantly surprised by the quality of their service and their reasonable prices. Very professional, and their owner Jim is very knowledgeable. No matter what the issue is you'll be able to get an opinion or a solution to it.

Like the other reviewer I had few issues with their tile installation. They consider themselves a professional company but they are anything but that! In my bathroom they mistakenly tiled over the tub drain so they had to come back and cut the tiles around the drain after it was installed. Which meant that the tiles were not waterproof anymore after spending all that money to make sure everything is waterproof! ! Jim’s response to that was that I should have hired a general contractor to look over their job to make sure this kind of mistakes don’t happen.He tiled over a tub drain and he didn’t think that was his fault!!! .And then he acts like he has done you a favour to have sent someone to fix the issue!!! Another place on top of the door the tile edge was left unfinished and when I asked him to send someone to fix that problem he told me that he was too busy to send someone to fix the problem. He proceeded by saying that I am a difficult customer and I am never happy. I ended up hiring someone else to deal with that issue . I wouldn’t have had to call them to come if these problems had never happened in the first place. You expect more when you hire a professional company. Save yourselves a headache and hire a company that takes pride in their work!

Mario Kociu did a beautiful job on a very tricky tile repair in my bathroom. Truly outstanding craftsmanship and very friendly and efficient service.

Do not hire these people! They installed my kitchen counters and backsplashes last fall, with many errors that needed fixing, always with an argument before they would admit responsibility. The icing on the cake was that they screwed up the measurements of our island counter, being short by 12 inches. After many months of finding the matching granite and a new counter being made, they kept delaying the installation because ''they didn't have the right truck''. Finally, today, Jim calls me and says ''we've changed our minds and will not be installing your new island counter''. Why? No reason - he just doesn't feel like it! He is responsible for the screw-up but will not keep his word on fixing the problem, despite months of assuring us he would. This is the most unprofessional group we have ever dealt with while building our new house and if I could give them zero stars then I would.

I have used Dimstone for approximately 10 years my last project being last November. Dimstone installed a stone patio around my residence in Montreal. They then did my granite work in my country home. They renovated two bathrooms in my city home and renovated my family room. I would never use anyone else. It is an absolute pleasure to work with Jim and his team. They are honest and very pleasant. Their prices are competitive. They completed the work within budget and with in the agreed delay. Once they completed the work the house was spotless clean. Really what more could one ask for ? I recommend Dimstone without any reservation whatsoever!
