We has worked with Diredre through the whole house. She has the great sense for the color and the style we want. She is on the front line of the design trend and gave us great choices of furnitures, fabrics and light fixtures. She listened to us patiently and paid attention on our life style. I can tell she puts her heart into our house, even for the kids' rooms. The people working with her are also very professional and experienced.

Diedre has an exceptional eye for color and fabric. We've worked with Diedre in almost every area of our home, from a formal living room to home theater to kitchen remodel to baby's room. I have been so pleased with the fabrics she's chosen, such as gorgeous curtains in master bedroom, playful yet sophisticated fabrics in baby room and camel-colored mohair on the living room sofa. She selected a carpet for the theater that makes the room (and it's one I would never have picked on my own!) We had some challenges in meeting deadlines with our home theater contractor, though part of that was outside of Diedre's control.

Diedre Shaw is one of the most creative, energetic and fun individuals I have ever worked with. Diedre has an ability to see spaces in a completely new and novel way -- creating new possibilities for any house, large or small -- and provides superior customer service when executing that vision (eg, managing seamlessly any issues with vendors, effectively managing sometimes challenging conversations between spouses to find win-win solutions). Plus she is able to create a vision that is a good fit for you and your family. As a mom of two young boys, we had several constraints for our house and she worked with them beautifully (eg, creating a play area that was both functional and beautiful in an area of our family room, ensuring our rooms were baby proof and "durable"). Finally, she was truly fun and inspiring to work with. She has the rare ability to work collaboratively with her clients and is willing to teach those with an interest in design about colors and other tricks of the trade -- which makes her well worth her professional fees.
