DGS Contractors

I had work completed by DGS this week. However, the work was not finished properly, and they did not do a final inspection of their final modifications with me. The main issue is that we inspected their work and agreed the gate to the back deck was too snug to the floor. This was an existing issue, but now it was scrapping the new flooring boards and their fresh stain. They agreed to correct how the gate fit. However, they left and did not show me the end result. They did raise the gate so it would not scrape the floor. However, the gate would no longer close. It did not fit correctly. I waited an hour and texted them to see if they planned to return. I got no response after about another hour and realized the reality was they felt this was complete, and they didn't bother to show their work to me. They were also contracted to wash my deck and porch, stain them, and do some other tasks. They did wash and stain my deck properly. However, they were also contracted to replace an entire stairway. They reused old sections, including rails that bees had eaten and I had previously filled with glue. I wasn't happy when I saw this, but I'd tolerate it. They were also to replace a section of my fence and build a new gate. They did build a new gate, but did not rebuild the supports for the gate as stated during the initial estimate. I can live with this. But it is not what was discussed.

Bicet was fantastic from the beginning of the project to the end. He was on time/on budget and did great work. He and his team worked hard/cleaned up daily were conscientious and professional. Pleasure to work with DGS Contractors. We are extremely satisfied and wholeheartedly recommend Bicet.

BEWARE : DO NOT BUY ANY HOME FROM DGS Contractors and DO NOT HIRE THEM FOR ANY CONTRACTING WORK. They almost cost our family our lives. After purchasing a “renovated” home from DGS in April of 2023, everything began to fall apart. Mold left behind the walls, painted floor in the master bathroom that released paint onto our feet whenever water touched the floor, painted cabinets were not primed or sanded and all the paint began to come off during the first week in the house, multiple cabinet doors fell off during the first week and beyond. The WORST part is that their negligence caused our entire electrical box to set on fire in our garage, which could have killed our entire family and pets. Two separate electricians have come out and told us it is the worst work they have ever seen in their entire careers and that it was no where near up to code. Our entire house now needs to be rewired and our entire electrical box needs to be replaced. We have had to make other living arrangements as our home is not habitable. We cannot reenter the home until everything is replaced and once the city comes out and signs off that it is safe to live in. I hope none of you make the same mistake we did working with this company. If you’re looking for a good contractor, you need to run as far as you can from DGS Contractors. DGS Contractors is the BEST home improvement company by far!! We worked with Bicet and his crews of people and right from the beginning of the work, Bicet was very professional, honest, hardworking man and good communicator. He always was on time and he made sure that the people will deliver the best results in the work. Our project (which was a complete kitchen remodeling) was completed on time and within the agreed budget. We will use DGS Contractors for all of our future projects.

I had a great experience with DGS Contractors. They ended up doing several projects for me, remodeling my master bath and my kitchen as well as retiling my front entry way and adding lighting to my living room. They seemed to work efficiently and completed the projects in a timely manner.

The flat roofing of my business needed some repair, since it was damaged by some branches of a fallen tree. Fortunately, this company managed to perform a quick, but effective flat roof repair. Total thanks!

From start to finish the team at DGS Contractors was excellent. They arrived promptly each day, cleaned up at the end of the day, and were courteous, hard working and friendly. They finished what they said they would do each day and the entire project (exterior house painting) turned out fantastic.

We recently used DGS to take down a very old second-story deck, and replace it with a much bigger deck along with a covered area with a gabled roof. The project wasn't easy as the deck roof needed to extend off the one-story roof of the house, and the deck stands atop a 15-foot retaining wall. Kevin and his team at DGS made us feel confident in their abilities from the first meeting, and we are floored with the results. The project turned out incredible and not only are we raving about them but so are our neighbors. While the project was done very quickly, it was also done right. Even the final inspector marveled at how well it was built. We couldn't be happier with the final product and will most certainly use DGS for all the other projects we have planned for inside the house.

No words can explain how professional DGS was. True craftsmanship showed through. My wife and I are completely satisfied and would recommend DGS Contractors to anyone. Job was done fast, and clean up was great. At the end of the day you don’t even realize they were here. Quality control was a huge plus, they spent hours going over our roof to ensure the job was done to perfection.
