Studio 76, LLC. is founded by Nate Penati, AIA., F.E., LEED AP. and his wife Preeti Swaminathan LEED AP. Nate possesses Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Master’s degree in Structural engineering and is duly licensed as architect in the states of Virginia, Maryland and District of Columbia. Preeti possesses a Master’s degree in Architecture. Our organization is a full service design-build firm. We are LEED accredited design professionals and EPA lead safe certified - CLASS A licensed contractors. Nate is also a licensed realtor in the state of Virginia. Together we have combined experience of over 28 years and had worked for some well-known award winning architectural firms. Our mission is to diligently apply skills, talents, and life experiences to the construction of custom homes and fit-outs that adequately meet one’s personal standards and needs. We strive to make sure that our clients enjoy their building experience from initial planning to the completion of a project until which they call the house their home, or place of work their retreat.

Studio 76 renovated our downstairs bedrooms, kitchen, and installed new flooring. They converted two existing small bedrooms and a small master bathroom into a master suite with a large bedroom, large master bathroom, walk in closet, and a powder room. They also totally renovated our kitchen, installing new cabinets, appliances, recessed lights and flooring. The design work was exceptional; Studio 76 converted space that was poorly designed into space that is much more livable and useful. They presented several design options and patiently walked us through each one. They are highly responsive to customer needs, answer inquiries quickly, and are totally focused on customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Studio 76 for any home design and renovation project.

Nate and his team are great, house came out exactly how we wanted it to. Nate and his team were very pleasent and patient to deal with. I have been in the house almost two years with no issues or problems I appreciate there professionalism and will def use them for my future project and other homes

We hired Studio76 to build a custom home for us. Although the design and plans were already done, their team made many changes that only made it BETTER! We were happy with the professionalism, quality and ability to always discuss the project, making more adjustments as necessary. We were intimately involved and Studio76 had no problem with that. The attention to detail and availability of options was a huge plus, we never felt pressured or rushed. A top notch building company that go the extra mile to ensure you are a happy customer. We worked with Nate to get Architectural services for our house. Nate and Preeti took our requirements and worked on the design in couple of sittings. We had very few modifications to the initial draft. He was patient in explaining the design pros and cons for some of the changes we suggested and had provided his expert advice. We are very happy with his work and the outcome. I would definitely recommend him.

Studio 76 completed my entire home remodeling for single-family home I bought in as-is condition. Home was in 1970 condition and nothing was updated over the years. I got help in deciding each item and vendors suggested by them had a very good variety of produces at a decent price. This project was very pleasant experience and I am very impressed with quality work performed by them. I definitely recommend them for any kind of project as they have capability and tools to complete any tasks.

Professional folks.. Project got completed on time/scope and quality. Some design work was involved and they took care of it getting approval from the county. Project got completed with no issues. I would certainly recommend for any general remodelling / additions.
