Our paint contractor recommended Mary with Design Intervention. I'm so glad I took the time to meet with Mary! This was my first house and first big paint project (entire main floor). Mary was very responsive, on time and extremely knowledgeable and helpful when choosing a color for the walls and ceiling. I didn't realize ALL of the factors that should be taken into consideration that can really make a difference. You can tell Mary loves what she does and cares about you being happy with the final outcome :). If you're thinking about using a color consultant, Mary is 100% worth it. You wont regret it!

Mary helped us select paint colors for our entire upstairs including an open study, bedrooms, bathroom, and a guest space above the garage. She made the process quick and stress-free. She listened to what we were looking for, then with her excellent knowledge of color, lighting, and style, laid out options that would work. This summer, after 30 years in my 1912 stucco house, I am finally in a financial position to have it painted. If you're like me, you know what colors you like, but have no skill to select or put them all together. Mary Fidler aka Design Intervention saved the day! Not only does Mary (owner) have the credentials -- she is a professional interior designer, worked for years as a color consultant for a global paint company, and is a fine artist -- she KNOWS the science of color. She made recommendations for the four-color palette based on my general preferences, demonstrated how those colors interacted in different light during the day, provided large and small samples, and generously worked with me through many questions to get to the final selections. Forever grateful to Mary/Design Intervention and recommend her highly!
