Jackie at Decorbuddi has been an incredible source of ideas, advice and inspiration. She assisted me with planning an entire house renovation - focusing on colour schemes, design ideas (both practical and aesthetic). As someone who works full time, manages 3 busy kids and has zero tolerance or brainpower for interiors I could not have done this without her help, support and wise counsel. I would highly recommend and say that it is money and time well spent using Decorbuddi. Jackie really listened to the brief, intuitively understood the requirements and never suggested anything that was super expensive or unachievable. Huge thanks and massive recommend!

Decorbuddi’s ‘Get Started’ service was exactly what we needed. Having recently moved into our home, we were struggling to determine layout, potential built-ins and a general plan for our main living/dining space. We were working with a slightly odd configuration and some hangovers from the old owners that were tough to figure out how to deal with. We asked Laura, our ‘Decorbuddi’, to focus on layout and suggestions for the design for built-in shelving, plus where to locate and integrate a wood burner. We asked her to work with existing floors, furnishings and curtains. What she came back with was great - her two hours were extremely thorough - aided by an in-depth initial assessment process which helped her prepare. She also came back with some design options which we would not have thought of but I think will compliment our space and age well. She made such good use of our two hours, that I wish I had prepped even a bit more to get more insights from her! It was great to work with an interior designer who offered this kind of limited one-off service - it was exactly what we wanted.

Decorbuddi provided just the service we were looking for. Laura worked with us on ideas for a revamp of our living room. Having moved home and ‘made do’ with the furniture we had it was time to invest in pieces to make the most of the space. Laura took on board our comments and provided help with a colour scheme and furniture sourcing. I’m feeling confident to move forward now thanks to Decorbuddi.

Decorbuddi is an extremely efficient and helpful service to assist with a very wide range of home improvement challenges and geographically flexible. We sought and received initial advice (and reassurance) on bathroom options; would definitely seek their support again.

We worked with Gill and couldn't be happier with the results. We were in a position where we had to design and build at the same time and Gill showed enormous patience with us during a very stressful period for us. She was able to find out what we liked (which we didn't know at the start of the process!) and turned our house into a dream home. If there was a 5+ star, I would choose it! My flat was an ex-council flat and I was so overwhelmed by the amount of work I had to do after the previous tenants moved out. My goal was to renovate the whole flat and move in then move out in a year and rent it out again. I did not have any experience in renovating or design or even project managing the renovation. So, last September I found Decorbuddi. Also, I just started to move home from Edinburgh to London and moving home took me 2 - 3 months to finish because I used to live in a house and there were so many things to sort out! I was so grateful that they found me an amazing interior designer, Jenny Wood. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful during our first meeting. I decided to let her to project manage the renovation while I could take care of moving home in the meanwhile. in October, I saw 3 builders. Then I chose the one suggested by Jenny and the builder started the work in November. At that time, we were planning to redo the kitchen so the project was expected to be finished in mid-January. Unfortunately, I had to move out of the temporary address due to serious family issue and we were under A LOT of time pressure because I had to move in before 1/12/23. I almost gave up on redoing the flat and I was that close to say "Let's just paint the walls and I'd be happy". I told Jenny about what happened and she said that she would help me to move in before 1/12/23. Then luckily the deadline was changed to before Christmas. There were so many things to keep track of and Jenny helped me to list all of them and tackle one by one. She was so patient and quick to arrange things, and produce mood board of each room for me. Every decision was quick to be made. After I moved home, I had things stored in two units with Anyvan Storage (the furniture removal company which I used), one unit was for short term storage unit and another unit was for long term storage. During the last week of renovation, Anyvan storage screwed up and sent all the things to the flat, I was really panicking because the flat was so small! Jenny was there not only to stop the Anyvan storage people from leaving but also to calm me down so I could talk to them with calm. She taught me to sort the problems out one by one and not to see them as a whole thing. We also had to ask the council for the permission to alter the flat and Jenny has also been so helpful to write down the replies for me to respond to the emails from the council. It is still going on now. Now I have asked Jenny to project manage the renovation of the kitchen and we will have to go through everything again, including applying for the permission to alter etc. I have no doubt that Jenny will do a great job. This year I will be looking to buy a new house and I would consider using Decorbuddi again to renovate it. I cannot express how thankful I am for everything which Jenny and her builder Antoni did for me through tough time. Words are not even enough.

We first met Sophie Wells through Decorbuddi, whilst renovating our new home and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with her. She took time to listen and really understand the aesthetic we were after and came back to us with exactly the style we were after. She has gone above and beyond the initial project itself, keeping in touch and offering advice and support since then. I continue to consult her every time we are considering anything in the home and her insight has proven invaluable in making the right choices!

We interviewed several designers as part of our move to a new home for our family of four. We are not design savvy and we wanted a house that was practical, comfortable and felt put together rather than cobbled together. I can say without exaggeration that I'm not sure what we would have done without Laura at Decorbuddi. We were moving internationally and Laura basically project-managed our new home, from ordering and arranging delivery to making sure the right pieces ended up in the right places in the right room. She even worked with our handyman to get things assembled and make sure the light fixtures were in the right spot. And it feels like the house is a reflection of us. I wholeheartedly recommend this service.

I used the Getting Started service offered by Decorbuddi. It is a wonderful service, perfect when you want ideas, inspiration and someone to help you get started! Alex from Decorbuddi provided precious help and advice to turn an office/guest room into a room for a child. She also helped with colours for the rest of the house. Alex was very creative, came prepared with recommendations for the room, and came up with ideas I wouldn’t have thought of. It is so helpful to have a professional to talk through a project and ask questions, in a relaxed atmosphere. It made me feel more confident and ready to start! I would definitely recommend.
