Anne worked us into her busy schedule quickly when we needed her expertise to make decisions on building our new home. She offered us many tips about lighting, paint selections and directed us to specific people in the world of furniture.

We are currently in the process of building a new home and believed that it was a prudent move to hire a designer prevent us from possibly making a costly mistake. Honestly, a two hour consult is much more affordable than purchasing a nonrefundable lighting fixture. SO, After searching for designers on Houzz, we decided to try DeCocco Design for an initial design consult. We liked her use of finish trim in her photos and thought she would be able to understand what look we are going for in a new build and provide helpful advice. We were primarily concerned that our choices of color, furniture, wood trims... may not transition well from room to room. Anne offered some great advice and suggestions that will truly enhance the look of the home, as well as separate it from others. As other reviewers have written, Anne comes fully prepared and stays on point. Our builder also attended the initial consult and we all fully appreciated her candor and honesty on some design elements. Our consult concluded and within a very short amount of time she followed up with a project website and notes for our information. We are so glad that we met Anne and decided to spend the time and money for this consult. We are very comfortable to recommend Anne as your design consultant. You won't be disappointed.

I asked Anne to help me design the interior of my new townhome. I needed help figuring out where to place the furniture, paint colors, tile choices, curtains, etc., and perhaps most important, ensuring that all the choices worked together. We scheduled a two hour appointment, but before even meeting, Anne "picked my brain" regarding what I wanted? How would I describe (key words) what I wanted the finished product to be? Could I send her pictures of colors, furniture, or rooms that I liked? This allowed her to be prepared for our meeting. And sure enough, she came prepared and before we were done we had a pretty specific plan worked out on how to proceed. But wait, there's more! Anne then followed up by emailing me a visual design board of everything we had talked about. Furniture placement, paint colors, fabric choices - everything. Anne also made herself available during the following weeks to answer my questions and to offer additional advice. I could not be more happy with Anne and the services she provided. She is knowledgeable, creative, accessible, and just a great resource. I would recommend her without hesitation.

We hired Anne of DeCocco Design several years ago to unify the look of our new construction home - a 3 story, all the bells and whistles beauty on a small lot in Morrisville just outside RTP. We loved her so much, we asked her back when we bought our new "old" home - a 1977 Ranch on 6+ acres in North Raleigh. Anne's taste is flawless and the tips she exudes while she is just reviewing your space are worth the price of admission alone. We'll be following her design plan to bring this cozy ranch out of the 70s - to make it a forever home we can't wait to come home to each day.

I was completely confused on what I wanted my bedroom to feel like. A large cathedral ceiling room with 4 Windows. I reached out to DeCocco designs since they did such a great job a few years back in my living room & dining room. Anne DeCocco was extremely knowledgeable and was able to narrow down the look by showing me various looks until I said yes! that is the look and feel I want. She provided plenty of fabrics to choose from without overwhelming me. Her expertise combined just the right fabrics for the curtains/shams & throw pillows and great rods. The workmanship is superb-top of the line for sure.I am so happy with the results every time I walk in the room I smile and say I LOVE IT! The process from start to finish was made so easy due to Anne's quick responses and knowledge, a must for me with a busy work schedule.

The two-hour consultation with Anne was extremely useful in planning an update of our tired family room. I appreciate the way she took the time to understand my style and my goals prior to our meeting. During the consultation, she helped me identify what was working and worth keeping, and then presented with me with lots of great options for freshening and updating the room. I especially like the way she steered me toward good, timeless design rather than merely whatever might be trendy at the moment. I had a pretty good vision of what I wanted in the room, but my meeting with Anne was invaluable in refining my ideas, giving me the confidence to implement them, and guiding me to helpful resources. I spent about one year trying to update my bedroom decor. Just couldn't get it done. Then I hired Anne DeCocco and she listened to what I was trying to accomplish. We made such fast progress and now I have the perfect, relaxing bedroom I always imagined. I was afraid of color, but I now have beautiful wall color (quietude by SW) and it is not scary at all! The drapes are wonderful and really complete the look. I still need some art work, but in the meantime I'm enjoying my little sanctuary! Thanks, Anne. You were great to work with.

We loved working with Anne on our new decor for our living room and bonus room. Anne was able to help us update our rooms while pulling colors and themes from existing pieces. The overall outcome is stunning and exactly what we were looking for. Anne assisted with shopping for furniture pieces, fabric choices, and vendor coordination. Anne DeCocco is a gem! From the beginning of our work with her, Anne showed that she is creative, thoughtful, a fantastic listener, and an excellent project manager. We hired Anne initially to do a consultation on our living room and dining room. Both spaces were under-utilized and had become a catch-all for odds and ends. She asked key questions and translated our answers into a creative concept that completely reflected our needs and personality. We then hired her to implement the concept, and she knocked it out of the park! The space was transformed--built-ins, new electrical, paint, fixtures, furniture, rugs, drapes--she pulled together a space that we use all the time and simply LOVE. She did it all while being conscious of our budget constraints, and she made the process such FUN that I hated to see our project end. I give Anne five stars--and would give her more if I could!

Anne DeCocco was awesome to work with on our project! I was initially hesitant to undertake this project (to redesign two rooms in our home) mainly because I was concerned about how much time it would take my wife and me to pick out colors, fabrics, lighting fixtures, furniture, accessories, etc. But Anne made it easy--she came over to our home, listened well to what we wanted our spaces to represent and feel like, asked some key questions, and quickly came back with a targeted set of options for each of these items that were all great choices. This made our decision process much easier, quicker, and much more fun. Plus she saved my favorite sofa with some rework and reused some of our other existing furniture in creative ways. The rooms Anne helped us with are now our favorite rooms in our home!

Anne’s 2-hour consultation was extremely helpful. After our meeting, she followed up with floor plans and digital boards of her recommendations. I've used both repeatedly - saving lots of time and money. I highly recommend her services.
